Saying no to half a million quid seems daft if there's no other sponsor in the wings. I can't see that estate agent & Booths stumping up that much.

June 5, 201313 yr Why don't the club take this opportunity to have the name of a local charity on the shirts. It won't bring in any income but with the right marketing it will increase the profile of the club.

June 5, 201313 yr Glad if its true. Nowt to do with Morris, he should get his own house in order first (Hospital,council etc) but plenty of decent Bolton supporters weren't happy with the sponsor. I know there are worse sponsors out there but that's not the point, they weren't going to be on the shirt. I just felt it was wrong for a community based club( their words not mine) to promote a product that does exploit people who are desperate within that community.
