birch-chorley Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 As I said in a previous post, the few on here still apparently in love with the idea of quick quid on our shirt are in the massive minority and yet somehow are trying to claim the club has been bounced into this by political extremists. Show me the hundreds of emails to the BN in support of the idea, the counter petition saying quick quid must stay... the public bodies welcoming them with open arms...that's right, they don't exist. I'm not in love with anything being on the front of the shirt, I would prefer no sponsors as it looks better but needs must. I care about the team doing well nothing more. you could put ken barlows face on the front and it wouldn't harm performances one bit, half a million quid dropping off the P+L will. As far as the 4500, I'm betting most were none Bolton fans jumping on the bandwagon as usually happens with these things (bankers bonuses, blue chips not paying tax etc etc etc) I quite like QQ, show me one person they lent money to who didn't ask for it. And every single non Wanderers fan I've spoken to about this, far from seeing us as a joke club, has actually been really impressed that for once a club has been forced to listen to the paying customer. i think its put back the day when we can turn the fcuking floodlights back up Quote
