June 6, 201313 yr Can anyone find me the article with Morris slating the influx of money shops into the town centre?
June 6, 201313 yr I like the new shirt, reminiscent of the 1989 "Matchwinner" shirt. Thank fuck we're not still sponsored by Normid. Looks like I will be buying a new shirt this season after all. Fucking amazing, QQ dumped due to fan pressure - a true paradigm shift in football

June 6, 201313 yr Is it going to be like the Beatles' "Butcher Cover" i.e. a certain lucky few will be able to peel the new logo off and find QQ underneath? Can you give a +10 at all? I'm already hunting down a Quick Quid shirt, it's top of my wants list alongside an Umbro Cambrian track top.
June 6, 201313 yr if it was the same interview I heard with Alan Beswick, it's not Fibrlec appearing for "nowt" but the University of Bolton aspect of the logo. He was interviewing the VC of the university and challenged him on how he could afford to be sponsor on a shirt whilst making cost cuts at the university, he said it cost the University nothing, not Fibrelec, Fibrlec added that aspect to their loga as that's where they graduated and are developing the product from using the facilities. was quite impressed with what I heard about fibrlec too, materials that can make electricity out of wind and rain, materials, engineering and innovations, all traits that you associate with Bolton industries past rolled into one. development stages obviously, but if we can make electric out of rain in Bolton, we'll be the next fucking middle east for energy supply. good luck to em i say Yeh same interview. Fair do's. All good for Uni of Bolton. So do we know how much cash the Fibrlek deal is worth to the club?
June 6, 201313 yr As Chungy isn't even in Europe now, then either: 1. It's all a Photoshop job 2. The sponsorship deal was canned a long time before anyone thought it was. possible mass club planned conspiracy for media attention/publicity
June 6, 201313 yr I've been doing a bit of work today and have just noticed that ficking thing at the top of the screen. It looks like WW is taking credit and is anti payday loans. Double you tee fucking eff!

June 6, 201313 yr assumed it to be ironic I bloody hope so. I like being vile Next we'll have Fat Cliff modding. Sick off that! Edited June 6, 201313 yr by no balls
June 6, 201313 yr Fuck me what's happened today whilst I've been golfing? Anyhoo, I like the shirt, the shorts and the badge Never thowt I'd be a happy clapper Oh and Didles, Ed Sikov is a well known homosexual literary type yank fella. I never knew you were so well read He does actually look like Traf though so you may be on to something
June 6, 201313 yr Or a sign of weakness What else should the fans demand? I don't see it as a sign of weakness. I see a club unafraid to admit that it made a mistake, I see a club strong enough to listen to the community it claims to support and more than anything I see a club whose shirt I'll be proud not embarassed to wear next season.
June 6, 201313 yr I don't see it as a sign of weakness. I see a club unafraid to admit that it made a mistake, I see a club strong enough to listen to the community it claims to support and more than anything I see a club whose shirt I'll be proud not embarassed to wear next season. I think the trouble a few are having, including me is it appears to those outside the club to have come from a badly organised, poorly attended protest and a few politically motivated people who could do with getting their own house in order. Next time you come to Bolton ask around on local's views on our council
June 6, 201313 yr I think the trouble a few are having, including me is it appears to those outside the club to have come from a badly organised, poorly attended protest and a few politically motivated people who could do with getting their own house in order. Next time you come to Bolton ask around on local's views on our council I understand the reservations of many WW members. Pokiticians of all hues, both local and national, will always latch onto prominent issues and causes. Unfortunately there's no way to avoid the bastards, the ones here in Glos are just as much opportunistic bandwagon jumpin' cunts as they are in Notlob. When people refer to the 60 people who turned out for the protest outside the town hall it's worth pointing out the 4,500 who signed the online petition organised by Andy Walton and promoted through Twitter. I left Bolton in 1990 and rarely visit, (since '97) I go straight to the Reebok and have no reason to go through Bolton at all. My only real connection with the town these days is the club so I tend to think of club first and then the town. Apologies to any fans if I've inadvertantly shown any disrespect to the town and its citizens.
June 6, 201313 yr Andy Walton? Do tell. Edit: I've just looked. He is a proud Lancastrian living in London & possibly a journo from the sounds of it. Hmmmm Edited June 6, 201313 yr by no balls
June 6, 201313 yr Next time you come to Bolton ask around on local's views on our council GloucesterWhite has enough on his plate locally - why only last week Fred and Rose West were named Mayor and Lady Mayoress of the town (posthumously, in Fred's case). Hmmmm Here's a link to the petition (now closed) http://www.change.or...=share_petition Not all of us can live in Bolton because of work, etc. but we do what we can to support the club when we can. I've seen it. I'm not sure where that petition shows someone supporting the club. I'd be interested in his motives.
