superjohnmcginlay Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 You're wrong about beast Barlow not being up to the job of a dry-bumming - he cums prepared... He has a look of the colonel from boogie nights there Quote
Exiled Girl Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 i doubt you come into contact with many rough arsed wanderers down there the ones who don't give a shit how we are successful, just that we are you probably bump into clever people, and bbc journakists The people at work aren't Wanderers fans, mostly. They're more ordinary football fans who listen to what's reported on Talkshite and 5live. And the ones on the bus back to the car park are rough, sweaty hairy arsed builders. Anyhow, they were the ones laughing at us. Quote
Carlos Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 In this whole process, we haven't heard from a single QQ customer. Shows how middle class football is. Ooooh you can't promote pay day loans, they are nasty to the poor people! Quote
Garrp Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 55 fucking pages its not a pissing or shitting thread for fucks sake who gives a fuck Quote

Ooooh you can't promote pay day loans, they are nasty to the poor people! That's pretty much where I am. This whole palaver has been fuck all to do with football and all about political motives. Can the yoghurt knitters go and kill cricket instead? Quote
davidjack Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Of all the things killing football, fans having their say on issues to do with their club would be pretty low down any list. Quote

That being I'm not convinced it was motivated by the good of football. It would appear from this thread I'm not the only one thinking that too Quote
Garrp Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 btw anyone wanting football shorts for around the house i strongly recommend any made by Macron - http://www.macron.com/shop/uk/en/ by far the comfiest Quote
Garrp Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Garpy, how many times have you washed them? This should be good only a couple so far? Quote
davidjack Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I can't obviously speak for anyone other than myself and those I know who felt the same way, but for me it was definitely about the football. It's because I care about our club that I didn't want to see it linked with QQ. Others saw it differently and don't care whose name is on the shirt - that's fine and their prerogative. Anyway, as someone else said, it's probably time to put this to bed now and pick another target to aim our scorn/ridicule/anger at. So, Marvin Sordell... Quote

I know this is naughty but I can see your email address... I really hope that in work you are more perceptive and reflect opinion rather than just railroading your own left-wing middle-class agenda through. It leaves a very sour taste. Quote
davidjack Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I thought the whole point of a forum was you give your opinion on an issue, not reflect all other views or try to sit on the fence. Christ, if that test was applied there'd be no comments allowed on here. As for the left wing part, not sure what point you're making...the Conservative group on Bolton Council came out and condemned this whole business...as did every other party...it's not a left-right thing... davidjack Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 It would be some agenda if it managed to incorporate the views of people from all political parties and none in it. It was an anti QQ in our club agenda, nothing more, nothing less. Quote

davidjack Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Eh? I don't live in London. Though as a former London White I know plenty who do who did sign it. People who regularly travel 400 mile round trips for a home game. I think they're more entitled than any armchair fan on here or anywhere else to have their say. Quote
