I predict two potless seasons followed by Taggart moving back 'downstairs'...All the while we watch the shitscum fairweather rats defect to the blue.

DONE DEAL....MOYES IT IS !

has that been announced?

I'm surprised at Moyes being appointed, he's never achieved anything of any note really

They've finished above Liverpool for a couple of seasons, though

Fair point, that's pretty much all Everton aspire to these days, so in that respect it's "job done" and as far as he can take them I suppose.

It'll be interesting to see who he takes with him, Baines would be one and maybe Hair-Bear Bunch as well......unless he goes to Real Madrid for £35M

Scotland First Minister, Alex Salmond calls Sir Alex, 'latest in a long line of inspirational and formidable Scottish managers.' Well, it's a pity that you couldn't get some of them into the banking sector, you arsehole.

He has won the 7th place trophy a few times.

First Thatcher dies, then Ferguson retires.......somewhere there's a happy Scouser with a magic lamp and one wish left

Went out in the car earlier. Radio Manc was going on and on about you know what, so I turned over to Radio Merseyside and guess what,it was the same story, but from a different angle (collapse of superclub2).

I'm actually a little bit excited. Please let it be Moyes.

I would love it to be Moyes

I would hate it to be Mourinho....can you imagine the media wanking frenzy if he joins them nobbers and brings CR7 with him

This, with Moyes' big hairy ginger balls on top

Remember Ferguson talking about how much he rated Dortmund a couple of weeks ago, so if he sticks his whiskey nose in I reckon it could be Klopp who gets it which would be gutting

Let's be honest, whoever comes in could (and hopefully will) be a complete disaster.

No matter how much we dislike them, Man Utd are fucking huge ... and for the last 20 odd years Ferguson has been an enormous part of that. Say someone like Klopp did get it, then the step-up for him would be massive and he could well turn out to be a disaster. Just think AVB at Chelsea.

The only potential candidate out there who I think wouldn't be fazed is Mourinho. I'm just hoping Abramovich has already rubber stamped his return to Stamford Bridge.
