That'll have blown your paedo hiding place, won't it?

See that's where you're wrong, I was extremely inconspicuous with my shell suit, string vest, John Lennon glasses, white wig and cigar

I'm off into Manchester shortly. Do I have to put a black armband on ?

Are the black flags flying from Manchester Town Hall yet ?

Will I be allowed to smile ?

Didn't see any black flags, but the front page of the MEN was awfully black when I saw one at Victoria Station. Made me smile.

Now this has happened, it means I can't listen toTalksport for the next 3 or 4 weeks, as they'll be having a massive wankfest over everything Ferguson has done in the last 26 years.......and then the wankfest will start all over again when Mourinho is appointed

I don't listen to Talksport, I don't buy newspapers any more, and I'll use the mute button on the TV news. Easy peasy.

Fook off ! I've had the mute button on for about 15 mins and the MAIN news is still going on about it. With NW news to come. Not to mention the several 'Life of .........' TV specials yet to be put together. What's on the other channels ....... any other fookin channel.

Quality! Bloke just been asked a question by 5 Live reporter outside Old Trafford. "Who would you like to see replace Sir Alex?" Response, "Well, I'm a Bolton Wanderers fan so I'd like to see them employ either Owen Coyle or Gary Megson. Either of them would take United down ."

Top bombing!

Brilliant. Deserves a tripe medal.

That was me!!!

I had been watching Lancs cricket with my school and on the way back to our coach we were approached by both the BBC and an Australian TV station. I couldn't resist - they thought we were united fans as a lot of the kids were having pictures taken - you should have seen the presenters face when I said that!!!!

I cant believe the BBC 1 o'clock news has just given 9 minutes to him quitting. Its just another pissed up Jock out of work.

He will be dead within 2 years.

We're up to 9 pages on here, some of match threads don't even get that!

Christ, just listen to the media blowing sunshine up Moyes' arsehole on 5 Live! Steve McLaren has spouted some shite in his time but he's just going into overdrive.

God, I hope it all turns to shite!

Love it when lurkers make contact. and what an excellent way to introduce oneself.

Apart from on here and 10 minutes of five live I seem to have done well to avoid the outpouring of grief. Even FB seems to have calmed down

Show your face behind the stands later, pour yourself a well earned drink, and we'll see what we can do.

Just been out for a run, popped in Farnworth Asda for some fruit (hello sailor) anyhow - I almost bumped into someone and looked up to see a Munich shirt wearing drip blocking my way, I was giving him the vinegary 'worst kind of scumbag' glower, then I remembered and my mood lifted to joy and a great bing smile spread across my kipper :)

As for Taggart, I've heard it's Gonorrhea - stick that in yer pipe and smoke it Pele. ITK Fact!

Edit: And welcome to the fray MrG, just read the thread properly - excellent work! :)

Moyes will be a strange decision.

They could have tried looking for a leader with charisma

Posted (edited)

while moyes has massively overachieved at a small club, very much like fatman with us

i'm not sure he fits gills criteria

"Clearly he has to have the requisite football experience, both in terms of domestic and European experience.

I don't get the whole moyes thing tbh

Yes he's done ok at Everton but this isn't just any top 4 job. It's arguably the biggest club (spit) in the world.

I really hope they fail miserably with whoever they appoint

David Gill is resigning too isn't he?

Contributing factor in Fergie going IMO
