As long as they get hammered in Europe year on year, they can win the league every year for me. City are just as bad, Chelsea, Arsenal, Scousers, all cunts.

A couple of years without success and the Glazer's business plan will go seriously tits up. Can't wait.

Don't mean to be spoilsport like.

But I'm pretty certain there will be a plan in place to make sure that doesn't happen.

You'd think so. Maybe it's unrealistic, but you've got to expect that at least a certain percentage of their fanbase, particular abroad, will fuck them off for whoever takes over their mantle. From an immediate point of view, I can't see any new boss having anywhere as much control over the club as a whole as Ferguson has enjoyed.

Fergie has eff all to do with training and tactics as he's too hungover to get involved. His huge back room take care of that once he's told em who he wants to be playing in advance.

He's there to front it all and lay into a few when needed and generally have the power.

I'd fear the club is too big for Moyes and his backroom cronies. Plus I can't see him controlling the foreigners, ala fellaini still elbowing people every week

Attending the Utd POTY do next wednesday night with work.

bit of history there if he does call it a day.

Why would you want to go? with work or not, it's just a No.

Don't bother saying its a free bar, that aint a valid excuse.

I just can't see Moyes taking over whenever it is.

Talking about a world super power of a club here, they would want a bigger name and manager with better credentials than Moyes Surely.

Moyes has achieved pretty much fuck all in the grand scheme of things if you ask me.

If Jose gets the gig,it would be pretty funny and a giant fuck you to them dickhead Chelsea fans signing his name whilst they have perfectly good manager at the club already.

Reckon it depends on how much of a say ferguson has in it all and how much he hangs around in the background after stepping down, or if the glazers do their own thing and go for a "big" name

Make sure you where a Bolton badge somewhere on your person it will keep bad spirits away, I'm at Wembley Saturday and will be doing the same.

Utd fans don't want a big name they want someone for the long term so i would say that Moyles fits the bill, he's stayed at Everton even though he's never had a pot to piss in

I wonder if Coyle/Megson double act are in the frame

whoever took over is on a hiding to nothing

Cant see a radio DJ getting the job.

If Moyes is to be his replacement, assuming Ferguson does leave, then that'd be a huge shock.

Moyes has been in the game for a long time now ... and he's won fuck all. You could argue he's done a decent job at a mediocre club, but he'll be expected to go from winning absoltely nothing, to winning trohpies season in, season out.

It'd be a huge gamble by the Glazers.

... whereas there IS a manager available at the end of this season who has a track record of winning the biggest trophies wherever he's been.

I'd be gutted if Mourinho went there. I'd have to stop liking him.

Just heard he's resigned

haha

Coyle in.

Just heard he's resigned

You've managed to get confirmation of news ahead of the NYSE? Impressive.

Today is a good news day

They'll be League 1 in a couple of years

Big Sam. What might have been. Now he's probably at the same odds as David O'Leary and George Graham.

We've got 5 live on here and there's a surprising amount of Mancs on.
