It was fixed last season, Coyle v Burnley and when we played Newcastle at home, BSA 1st game not a Bolton manager.

Do you believe aliens have landed too and 'they' are not telling us?

So, shouldn't we be playing Wigan or Palace?

You are full of muck. The fixtures conspire against us. You sound like that bacon faced twat - i forget his name these days.

Only a complete cock jockey would want a home fixture first.

Then we should have had an home game surely? they had the home game last season.

Whats it matter? It's not like you'd attend!

Burnley away on the first day is not that uncommon given that we spend most seasons a division or two above them. 77/78 we played them on day one and won 0-1 at Turf Moor. 82/3 we drew 0-0 there. 2000/01 we drew 1-1 with them at the Reebok on the first day of the campaign, then, obviously, last season. Lets hope we make up for last year and comfortably beat the cunts.

I heard you were disappointed when the news broke.

My wife was!

I still want Bolton to do well and an home tie would be best, unless a trip comes before the result.

A tasty opener but no "Coyle factor" combined with the fact that you are right in the middle of main Summer Holidays will mean the game doesn't have the appeal it had last year for many.

I would imagine that as part of the 125 years of the FL that more than one of the games will be played live on TV. If thats the case then i just hope that were not Saturday or Sunday lunchtime kick off.

On a final note we won't sell out so don't panic Traff . We just managed to sell out in the last couple of days last year - the high ticket prices didnt help but we were a relegated PL club then and it was new to us. After speaking to some of the locals the admission prices will be similar so we'll take around 2500 is my guess.

Still a good opener though.

My wife was!

Being married to you, she should be used to it.

If you want Bolton to do well your support in the ground would be a better way to do it.

If you want Bolton to do well, you'd want us to be promoted. To achieve this we should be beating the likes of Burnley on the opening day of the season whether its home or away, so the trip is just an added bonus.

You appear to not understand this concept having never embraced it, so please don't try to comment on a concept you don't comprehend, it just makes you look stupid.

Silly little boy.

I've still fopnd memories of the "we only need 9 men game"

still the funniest thing I ever did see after a football match when a livid six fingered cunt screeched to a halt next to me, wound his passenger window down and when I went to lean down to see what the fucker was shouting he had a swing at me only for his seatbelt to stop him reaching..... I've no idea to this day who it was but another Wanderers fan leaned over my shoulder and planted him right on the nose end.... he took off like a bat out of hell with blood pissing down his face

Burnley away twice in a row, what a fix.

It's like Grimsby all over again the bent shits

Looking forward to either Wigan or Blackburn away as last game of season with 10,000+ pissed up whites dancing on the pitch...

Happy, it seems you are able to add the full Wanderers fixtures to the forum from now on (if you so wanted too anyway, I'm sure I've seen a Calendar section).

You just need to make sure it has the correct league name and artwork.

Not really arsed About the 125 years thing. Good local away to start the season is all I'm bothered about.

People will have last seasons start in the back of their mind so there will be no " we're gonna piss it" attitudes either.

Why would you care when by your own admission you don't bother going?

Is there not usually a live tv game on the Friday night of the opening day of the championship.

I see on another Wanderers forum a new poster has shown up and posted a "leaked" list of all of our fixtures for the opening three months of the season. How do these people find information like this out so early, and if its bollocks, why bother making it up?!

I'll put it this way, what gives Bolton a better chance of getting points? an home or away game? what's better to get a good start to the season? an home or an away game?

Even if I still went, I'd want an home game, even if I went to the cups, I'd want an easy team at home.

, I'm sure all clubs would prefer an home game to start the season,

I'm sure most clubs would prefer a home game, also I reckon most fans would prefer an away day

Link earlier in the thread said Derby-Roverrrs was being televised so that might be moved to the Friday. Can't see the police being keen on Burnley-Bolton being on a Friday night anyway!

And seeing that none of us own a club...,,
