June 19, 201313 yr You do. We are. Interesting that GMP are relaxed at having both Bolton and Wigan at home on some dates. Some of the other pairings are obvious enough: Blackburn / Burnley, Leeds / Huddersfield, SheffWed / Barnsley and Charlton / Millwall. Some others were to some extent geographical: Leicester / Birmingham and Yeovil / Bournemouth. Others are somewhat random (like ours): Wigan / Reading, QPR / Blackpool, Watford / Derby, Brighton / Nott'm Forest. Should have then been Wigan / Blackpool Derby / Forest and any 2 from 4 from Reading, QPR, Brighton & Watford
June 20, 201313 yr Gmp won't have a problem policing us and Wigan on the same day - without 5000 visiting fans every week, Wigan will be back at 8000 gates
June 20, 201313 yr FFS. Why do they have to bugger around with the first game of the season? I am now(forced)out. Set of bastards
June 20, 201313 yr Fuckin typical. Was looking forward to this. £50 is now to be spent in the pub. OUT.
June 20, 201313 yr We had it good last season with live games hence our top away support just hope there is not to many more, like blackburn fans going derby on sunday 4pm ko utter shite.
June 20, 201313 yr Bonus for me as wasn't going! Happy days What a great morning I've had... Sold a piece of shit car for good money, got a date on Saturday in hospitality at highland show & bank agreed to pay me compensation for bad advice! It's only 10.30... Something's bound to go tits up soon
June 20, 201313 yr That will take 1k off the following. Ok for me.,.more time to get home in one piece. Don't think I'll tell the wife it's an early kick off...
June 20, 201313 yr Anyone know the number of home games on live compared with aways last season? an answer may depend on enzo's workload
June 20, 201313 yr Anyone know the number of home games on live compared with aways last season? Don't think any aways were, forest and cardiff at home were Even last few seasons in PL we were always on at home but never away Liverpool away springs to mind Mind you wasn't an issue in PL as most games were streams but Home games on sky are a pain in the arse, away games can be a treat/excuse to get down the pub
June 20, 201313 yr OK... with the fixtures now out my plans are: Forest away 17th August combined with trip to Wembley (reacharound still unclaimed) Blackburn away Aug 31st for my birthday Brighton away Sep 21st with the JLS brigade hopefully Blackpool away all dayer on October 1st (tuesday) Bournemouth away 2nd November (lot of "B's" in this league) Middlesbrough away 30th November Wigan away 14th December Make my Reebok debut with Burnley home on Jan 25th Millwall away 15th Feb Leeds away 8th March to visit a mate though he doesn't know it yet Yeovil away Mar 22nd Then come April & May it will be carnage again if we are going for promotion but a definate is away to Sheff Weds on 24th April Wigan is confirmed as Sunday 15th. Millwall is on FA Cup 5th round weekend, so if either club reaches the last 16 it will be re-arranged. (Incidentally Wigan have been allocated midweeks in their first 2 Europa weeks - if SheffWed lose at Rotherham in C1C R1 they could bring one match forward to late August, otherwise they will have to carry 2 games in hand until at least mid December).
June 20, 201313 yr (Incidentally Wigan have been allocated midweeks in their first 2 Europa weeks - if SheffWed lose at Rotherham in C1C R1 they could bring one match forward to late August, otherwise they will have to carry 2 games in hand until at least mid December). That's when Owen's arduous pre-season regime will really start to pay dividends. Hang on a minute...
June 20, 201313 yr Should have then been Wigan / Blackpool Derby / Forest and any 2 from 4 from Reading, QPR, Brighton & Watford I can't be arsed to look, but presumably the Derby/Forest pairing would impact on Leicester/Birmingham, which, in turn, would have to take into account what Villa were up to. Similarly, the Wednesday/Barnsley pairing would have to factor in Sheffield United.
June 20, 201313 yr got a date on Saturday in hospitality at highland show Which one? Old fatty or young gold digger?
June 20, 201313 yr Burnley changed the price category for their live game with Blackpool last year from A to B. Lets keep fingers crossed.
Released on Wednesday at 9am.
I'm gonna go with Derby away first game.
