The day final day I got up and walked out without saying goodbye to anyone as I felt let down big time. July 12, 201313 yr I do think Davies could easily have got a Championship level club, but as his twat of a missus was whining about not wanting to uproot the kids/move out of Bolton, a 2 year contract at Preston pronably suited everyone. Wouldn't be surprised if he only signed for them on the guarantee of a 2 year deal, and maybe doing some coaching as well? Wish him nothing but the best at PNE, a pal of mine is a big Preston fan so will be keeping me updated with how he's doing, their fans seem excited to have him. SKD has been a big part of my Bolton-supporting life, so a big thanks for everything he did for us over the years, shame his last few months ended up the way they did but in the future that won't get remembered and the good times will. Seeing him come on for England was fucking brilliant, and well deserved. Hero.
