Signing Andrews & Mills were the nails in Coyles coffin... 2 poor signings

Recall a lot of folk on here raving about him at the time. Plenty were in for him, just been to a World Cup etc etc. Coyle probably paid over the odds to beat off the competition. Hindsight is a great thing. Mills signing was welcomed too.

You wonder if things would have been different if he was ever fit and on form. Burnley suggests he wasn't good enough, but you could say that for half the team to be honest.

Got me chuckling away has that. I love Jose.

agreed

he's become something of a scapegoat for the coyle regime

you don't really last as long as he has if you can't play

You say that but other than a successful spell with MK Dons in league one he went to Blackburn and did shag all then was loaned to WBA for a few games who ultimately didn't sign him he then comes to us and is pretty poor even if that is just down to form - he stepped up from league one and has struggled

That's great news, sweet. A bit like a spoon full of sugar :)

If he goes, the hills will be alive with the sound of music.

Correct, it's supercalafragilisticexpedalidocious news :)

Good for us

Good for him

Good all around

I'm in the "I reckon he's a better footballer than he's shown us" camp. Sometimes it just doesn't happen at a club

Just hope he ain't that good at Brighton that they're ahead of us come next may

He's not good

Glad he's gone just wish it was permanent, but loaning is better than nowt. He was a crock of shite amongst the humongous crock of shite coyle signed, well done dougie in getting him out.

Has he actually gone. Not good but not the worst played on the books.

Yeah saw It confirmed on Wanderers' Facebook page. Along with that away kit getting a recall due to a quality control issue.

That gif is top Kane, you and Dan should have a live televised "gif-off"!

Might mean bridcutt leaving them men thought he was very good at our place last season

Knowing you, both probably.

Andrews not a happy bunny on the bbc sport championship bit.

Says he deserves a little bit more respect

What a soft twat. Good riddance

Hardly a 'surprise', it was obvious that a lot of players getting game time in pre-season were in the shop window. Fuck him, he's not ours any more.

He likes brightons style and fashion? Homo alert?

People who demand respect have patently not earned it. Another Warren Joyce, headless chicken.

Hasn't he got 2yrs on his contract?

So he might have to come back.

On the subject of Warren Joyce, his Wikipedia is worth a read. Joyce was before my time, but I'm pretty sure he's done it himself going off how it's written:

Working his way up into the first team he became known for being a tigerish midfielder who never gave less than 100%. This made him a firm favourite with the Burnden Park fans

Over the next five years, he became a much-loved figure at Preston earning himself the nickname "Psycho", due to his never-say-die commitment to the cause

He soon became club captain at Boothferry Park, putting in some talisman type performances over the next two years. Indeed his influence at the club was so apparent that in November 1998 he was asked to stand in as caretaker manager following the departure of Mark Hateley

At the time of his appointment, City were rooted to the foot of the Fourth Division table and looked to be heading out of the Football League – and into bankruptcy. However, under Joyce's stewardship, City staged a remarkable turnaround and achieved survival with games to spare; City fans christened this season "the Great Escape". Such is the esteem with which Joyce is regarded by Hull City fans he is assured a hero's welcome every time he returns to the KC Stadium

Anyway, Andrews signed a three year deal last summer on bumper wages. Thanks Coyle.
