Maybe... just maybe... Sam was the odd appointment out for a club of our size?   Sammy Lee - easy choice following Sam, but tried to change too much too quickly. Gartside removed him ASAP. Megson -

  • Freedman has never had a clue. Picks a totally different team each week and hopes for the best. Has brought in shit full backs and a terrible striker, can't wait to see the back of him.

  • yep   blind optimism has served me well so far   its hard to get suicidal about millionaires falling over.

its hard to get suicidal about millionaires falling over.

That's because I'm an optimist. What can I do? It's in my nature.

Fair  enough but you cannot defend the indefensible.

Reality needs to kick in at some point.

Including yourself?

are these players up for a scrap because if they don't start winning soon, that's what there going to be in, you gotta feel for Freedman

Feel for Freedman?

Who came to Bolton for a large salary rise and couldn't give too fucks about us.

Like someone else said get Jimmy Philips in for the rest of the season

its hard to get suicidal about millionaires falling over.

I agree, I'm not as arsed as I used to be years ago. I certainly don't get angry about it anymore

gartside goes, westham sack big sam and he comes back to save us

Feel for Freedman?

Source? Or just guessing?

I'd say it was the opposite and he's just as upset as us with the current situation.

I was just curious, I thought that was a strange comment to make by someone who comes across on here that you don't attend, I suppose you could be commenting on here whilst being in the ground, maybe.

from hero to zero in 8 games

All managers move to advance themselves both financially and professionally. If you think he doesn't care, you're living in dreamland.

Don't buy into the Jimmy Phillips nonsense. He's at his level.

gartside goes, westham sack big sam and he comes back to save us

does that mean you'd be willing to issue a grovelling apology to him for hounding him out in the first place?

i never wanted sam out

Freedman completely to blame this sitting back waiting for the opposition to give the ball away with no pressure on the ball is clearly not the way forward for this group of players Freedman cannot be surprised if the p60 lands on his desk on Monday morning he's clearly not a clue what to do.

Like players I agree they go for the money. He has completely lost it and I don't believe he has the ability to turn this lot round

As much as I like Dougie and what he did last season...he's got to go now. We are the laughing stock of the Championship.

from hero to zero in 8 games

the fuck up against blackpool did it for me, then the poor poor pre season, shit signings, losing to tranmere now no wins in our first 8, gotta go

i never wanted sam out

my memory must be going.

Freedman has little to no control of what the players do on the field after they cross that white line.

3 goals in 5 minutes suggest we were shell-shocked.

Anyone calling for Gartside's head needs a serious reality check.

Anyone thinking Sam would come back (and who wants him back) clearly has severe mental issues. You never go back, it doesn't work.

I'm as pissed off as anyone else (I get out of bed 2-3 hours earlier than I'd like every weekend to listen to this shit) but some peoples' reactions on here are utterly laughable.

Totally spot on

We also rode our luck during the good run last season; we had confidence and managed to steal points

We played well under jimmy Phillips last season. Boro away, Bristol City at home and wolves away. If we end up getting rid of DF , finances dictate it will probably be phillips who takes over.

My lad got a certificate off Jimmy Phillips today

so for that reason, Jimmyin

See, now how can you say that and then NOT say that our current run is down to a lack of confidence and bad luck?

I guess you'd have nothing to spout shit about then though really.

I'd give it 5 games before people realised he wasn't as good as they thought and they're calling for his head. Leave him to the academy where he seems to be doing alright.

my memory must be going.

big sam gave us a european dream, i was pissed off with him when his spat with gartside made him jump ship to newcastle

I know Gartside is going nowhere but I don't see why questioning his record means a reality check. He has been a disaster ever since big Sam made his reputation. Isn't he supposed to steer the ship? If nothing is down to him how do you justify his salary?
