IF he beats Alexander then fair enough, but if the rumours he's going to ditch the Alexander fight and go straight into a Mayweather fight are true then he doesn't deserve it

Khan wouldn't last 3 rounds and as for ending his career he won't be bothered as he pockets another few £m to add to the squillions he already has.

I'm over in Vegas over the weekend of 3rd May for my stag do - might go and give Mayweather my support if ticket prices are not stupid but they usually are $300+ over there

Like most, I expect Khan will come back in a box.

 

But something is niggling away (sickening) at the back of my mind that if the timing is right, he could pull it off. 10 years older, Mayweather possibly 5% slower than he was, doesn't have the KO punch.  

 

I wouldn't be putting money on it, mind you.

To be fair, I've nothing against Khan, been to watch him a few times but i'm a big fan of Mayweather. He's the best boxer of my generation by a mile, been a big fan ever since he beat Hatton - but only after he'd beaten him, in the arena I wanted him leathered

I can't see that Khan would win, and if he loses then it may well finish his career......but he'll no doubt be getting around $10M for the fight, so I'm sure he would be in a position where he doesn't have to fight again anyway. If he did manage to win, then he would catapult himself into the very top bracket and would be able to name his price for the next fight  -  it's a risk worth taking for him at this stage of his career.

Styles make fights. Khan will be comprehensively beaten and probably knocked out in the middle rounds, but I would be fairly happy to guarantee that his speed will cause Mayweather more problems than he has experienced arguably since De La Hoya.

That is the whole point of the fight, Khan's speed.

 

They want to test Mayweather against sheer speed, also the amount of money they can make, is the big push behind the fight.

In for a penny. Good luck to him. If Khan adapted his style and starts throwng haymakers and windmilling from the first seconds he might catch him with a good one.

if any of you are coming over you better start saving now...its almost impossible to sneak in now....they have got 3 different check points that you have to get through, so unless you can get hold of a lanyard which doesn't have a barcode on it, then the only way in is with a genuine ticket....which you would be better getting in England as there were thousands of forgeries for the Mayweather v Canelo fight....but the lads from Bolton so a full turn out from The L.A. Whites is gauranteed
