We played like the away team as we've done in the majority of the games this season. If you allow the opposition the possession we do eventually they'll do something with it. I fear we are set up to not lose games rather than to win which in reality means draws and defeats with the odd win thrown in. We got what we deserved tonight

See here's the problem. People think we're still mighty Bolton who deserve to be in the Premier League.

We're a mid-table championship team. At best. Huddersfield are currently a better team than us.

Accept these facts and you won't get nearly as pissy following a CLOSE DEFEAT.

Hudds were, what, 4 points ahead of us at kick-off ?

And we end up as a shambles, at home, again, Xmas looming and only 1 home win ?

It might look a "close defeat" on paper. It didn't look like that in the Reebok.

At the reebok it was shite

To people the other side of the pond who see the score and maybe the chances we missed think it was a close game

In reality there play was light years ahead of us

They attacked with passion and looked dangerous - we didn't and got wgT e deserved again

One home win in half a season is sacking form we are ahite at home and it is the home support that pays wages

Incidentally, well done to whoever decided the away fans are situated away from the ESL unless they fill the stand. Excellent job of killing the atmosphere stone dead at 90% of matches

I am one of Doogies staunchest fans, but going off reports, he has lost the fans, I know we have our special sorts, and they are always going to moan like fuck, but some of them are right, Dougie sets us up all wrong for home games, his ultra defensive game is ok away, but he needs to go ultra attack for home games, sadly that is where he falls down, and ultimately it will cost him his job, rightly or wrongly, he had my confidence, after tonght, not to sure, I say give him the season, maybe with M Davies and Holden he can organise stuff, but I am running out of patience

Dreadful. Nothing much more to add. Moritz is a soft arse, Knight kept trying his best to ship goals, Ngog didn't look interested, Spearing gave the ball away all night long, Beckford missed 2 sitters.

I'm struggling to think of anything positive - maybe it could be said Mills had another solid game.

Tactically all wrong

Dougie reckons we were in a "decent league position" before tonights game

I'd beg to differ

Very very poor. Probably worse than Yeovil. Not going on Saturday, can't watch anymore of that home dross and shite atmosphere.

Also have it on good authority, that DF was in a meeting post match until at least ten past midnight with PG and Brett Warburton! May go Saturday to view a change of home formation/attitude?

I'm not fickle

Soft spineless cunts, when was the last yellow card for dishing it out a bit? We get walked over and knocked off the ball far too easy. Pls find a frandsen

Mills booted Vaughan in the last 5?! But I do agree there wasn't a lot of urgency until we went one down again

Spearing has lost his mojo

That's where I'm at. Can't face that shit anymore

I'd fuckeed off by then, I do apologise but last 5 is too late

Brett Warburton? Is he putting on a buffet of soft fluffy rolls on satdy?

Insider info, could mean change of formation / tactics Saturday pal, little fickle me back in (like you will be come Saturday morn)

Brett Warburton? Is he putting on a buffet of soft fluffy rolls on satdy?

Think he said Brett, was defo PG and a Warburton though (dough!!) ha ha

Atmosphere, result and last 15-20 mins were terrible

But overall considering opposition etc it was nowhere near as bad as Yeovil as a relative

Huddersfield were excellent. And we could've easily scored 4

Easily

The problem for me is that with the way DF plays, it can so easily go either way

And to exacerbate the problem, when we do go behind they panic and he removes the midfield completely.

We didn't take the chances last night, and we could still be playing and wouldn't have scored. Beckford couldn't get one on target. N'gog was just.. N'gog

Pushing Knight up confused the matter for me. Nullify and then push loads up front? Is that it?

Terrific goal for them.

There was a bolton reject on the pitch for them, who didnt look any worse than our superstars

And I must mention the disinterest in more than half the players last night I think he might have lost the dressing room.

Oh and Danns did his usual job of disappearing after the opening spell again.

Will folk start to see that soon?

I've noticed this, nowhere near as good as Eagles.

I can live with poor football as long as we get the results

I can live with poor results if I can see something (and a commitment)

I can't see anything

The "Big Picture" people can see things that I can't

I've noticed this, nowhere near as good as Eagles.

Ha ha

Too many teams are coming to the Reebok scoring once and taking a point or points, just wish DF would have a go at teams early and try and open the game up as it's complete dross at moment. How many games have we had a real go only in the last 10 mins chasing a result ? Surely he needs different tactics at home?
