Alot blame individual players. Its 90% his tactics. Hes setting them up negative as fuck and its cost us points all season. We will go nowhere fast with this inferiority complex he gives the squad. It makes me piss when smart arses on here claim his tactics are right after a couple of wins. Its cost us more points. Being able to see the bigger picture doesn't make you negative or a whinger. We all want progression and better football if possible. We do have the players, hes not playing them right. Spearing and medo do the same job! Not only that they don't cross the half way line a support the stikers. We sit in and allow the opposition position and don't commit men forward when weve got it. Thats Freedman not the players. Some daft twat on here was blaming Ngog for last night! He only played 25 mins! And our centre halves are just desperately hoofing aimless balls up front. Again Freedman not Ngog or Beckford. We need to look at the bigger picture ie bad tactics. Thats the main issue! I wish people would stop sniping at individuals. Im sick of the whining negativity from those fans. Hopefully Dougie will realise this and some of our fucktard fans.

what is the 'the big picture'

When they have the ball, nobody shows for it.  Majority of the time, it's their only option.

Weve won four games this season

It'll take me another 4 years to sort this out ?

I love it when random loons come on claiming everyone else is a fucktard.

I've seen bigger.

"I would like to apologise to our fans , that performance was totally unacceptable. However, I must take responsibility for the performance, I pick the team, I prepare the players, so results are ultimately down to me".

Wow !   That's honesty for you. Good on you, Doo...................

Ah, sh*t !    I was reading the wrong match report. That was Chester's manager after last Saturday's 1-2 home defeat.

“Credit to them, they’re a good team and they defended very deep …… I’m not going home too disappointed ………There is good spirit ……. We’ve got to pick ourselves [up] to go again and this spirit allows that”.

Ah, that's more like it Doogie. Prize flim-flam.

That wasn't you at half-time, Mounts, was it ?   Someone shouted at the players coming off, something like : "Well I won't care a sh*t if you lot don't .... "

I said something similar but limited it to Moritz, I'd like to give the gift from Dougie to another club he's fucking shit.

The home form is shocking and 1 win in 8, it is certianly not play off form !!

The defence for me was quite solid last night and you have got to give credit to the goal scorer. (although great pass Medo)

We had chances in both halves.  Disappointed Hall went off as his pace was making them very nervy and they kept fouling him.

Medo and Spearing were virtually holding hands and are too alike.  We need either a bit of class (Mavies) to play with one of them, or someone who drives box to box (Pratley).

The 2 misses from Beckford late on were terrible.  A top goalscorer, who has 2 very easy chances and can't hit the target with either.

Why in gods earth do we wait until the last 10 minutes to leave players up from corners and go at teams ?

Moritz was shocking and Ngog instantly forgettable.

Can only seeing us limp to safety, with a bottom half finish inevitable.

We have played a lot of the lesser sides at home so god help us after Xmas.

This is a quote from Freedman last night:-

"I’m not going to go home too disappointed – obviously I am disappointed because the players have been fantastic during the last eight games to get themselves in a decent position, so to see it slip away tonight is disappointing.

Does this make an ounce of sense ?

Moritz was shocking and Ngog instantly forgettable.

I can;t warm to Moritz at all, he just seems a bit shit to me. I also note that he's had about 7 clubs in 7 years, so for some reason teams don't seem overly keen on keeping in when he's there....unless of course he's just in the process of increasing his earning year on year, and if that;s the case, then fair fucks to him

you stuggling to grasp the differenece between pissed off and suicidal?

i know plenty bolton fans do seem to see the two as bedfellows but there really is a massive difference

i'd say that i'd like to judge him when he's fit, but i'm worried that he's never going to be fit

still, i think last night was his longest stint for a good while so maybe he'll get better

alternatively, we could write him off

Moritz got 8/10 in bolton news.

What happened too giving young players a chance? Sitting a different acadamy player on bench once in a while isn't bringing young players through.

If they were good enough then they'd be playing in the first team.  I'd rather he picked the best players avaiable to him, regardless of age.

Surely a misprint for 3.

I presume that all of our youth players are a bit shit, if not then they might be getting a sniff. You've got to play your best available players at all times when you're in our position, we don't have the luxury of being 3:0 up in games and giving some kids 20 minutes to run around. Mores the pity

I'd have not been handing out many marks above 5 last night

I thought you were one of those

Often accusing fans that were pissed off as being wrist slitters

Oh i forgot all our " best players" are doing so well for us at the moment. Didn't the young uns put 7 past blackpool & 6 past stoke? Can't do any worse imo. I thought we would have at least 3 acadamy lads in team by now, if we don't give them a proper go we will never know.

At the minute, that doesn't bother me. I can see a pretty big clear out coming in January with a few players leaving on a free, and anybody who doesn't go then (who is out of contract in the summer) will be off at the end of the season.

Batten down the hatches, we're in for a bumpy ride for the rest of this season.....and probably for most of next season whilst a load of new players bed in.

this is what frustrates me most about this all

whatever you think about DF - I'm pretty certain when he took the job on, it wasn't with a view to clearing out all the players, bringing in lesser quality (and they will be), then starting again and waiting to see what happens

based on Palace, I'm sure PG said something along the lines of "right lad, you've done a belting job at Palace by taking them on this good run of form, we think you could do even better at Bolton with more resources and get us back up, are you up for it"

and he said "aye"

not "give us a few years to get Bolton down to the level where Palace where at, start again, and let's see eh"

which is what a lot of folk who aren't "pissed off" seem to be suggesting is what is now the plan, or what they are prepared for - fair enough but that's not what he was brought in to do

he hasn't got the players performing, the results are shite, and it's hard work to watch performances like last night

he's really not doing much to make me think he's owt other than very average at best and won't take us anywhere, no matter what the squad is, I hope we're not here in 12 months with a side full of Danns going "yeah but it took him a bit longer at Palace so let's wait and see"

still, hope am wrong, etc as right now I don't see him going anywhere

you never know, we might get dawson in jan and everything will be ok again

Out of interest, why would you have thought that?

Surely the manager and coaching staff know when the time is right to put academy players onto the squad/team. If you put them in to early and they're shit (and, like it or not, it is possible they could be an awful lot shitter than the seasoned professionals that we have) then you could ruin their careers.

The fact that we don't have any of them in the team tells me they aren't very good. I might be wrong though, they're probably world beaters especially as they have just thrashed Blackpools stiffs

I agree that I don't see he's much better than average. I'm sure that he thought he was coming to a great squad and set up at Bolton when he arrived. On paper (by virtue of the wages they draw and their recent PL games) we still had Premiership quality players...I think the reality is that we didn't have the kind of squad or finances that was "sold" to him.

I hindsight (and if we forget how much money he now earns) I'll bet he wishes he had stayed put at Palace, as he probably would have gone up automatically last season, as they were on such a tremendous run last year. My mate who is a Palace fan and ST holder (who some of you have met) still reckons he would have Freedman back in a heartbeat  -  I've told him they're welcome to him. It's funny how quickly a managers reputation can change isn't it.

Either way, I think we're stuck with him and he's stuck with us. We're not going up this year, or even look like getting close to it which is a bit disappointing, let's just hope that we don't get sucked into the bottom three

Putting young players in who aren't ready at this moment in time would make them cannon fodder for the moaners.
