Now i know i am an old git but went out last night to at gig in the railway at Bradshaw.It was ok and finished at midnight,so a taxi took four of us into town,the first two places we went in had no draught beer on,just plenty of fancy taps with glasses over them.Finally got a pint in Barristers but then round to Man and scythe and they were shutting up shop FFS at 1 am on a friday.Finished with a couple of sad pints  in the Brass cat.

Now you lot on here like a drink and a laugh ,where should i have been?

If draught ale is important, Barristers, Man and Scythe, or Dog and Partridge. There's ale in Wetherspoons but it isnt great.

Yes ,but the first two we went into really were desperate ,the old Corks and then what had been a gent suit shop ,all fancy bar furniture but nowt on their taps.Your right i should have gone down the hill to the Dog and Partridge,been a few years since i was in there.

Went out with some mates after Charlton the other week to recreate Bolton nights of old, none of us had been out on Bradshawgate for years - had a good night but its not a patch on what it used to be. Closest we got to recreating Ikon was 2 bottles of Smirnoff Ice each!

I went to Atlantis with Miami White I'm sure of it.

 

I've also been in ikon.

 

I couldn't tell you now which is which or even the year.

 

Last time I was out in Bolton I ended up in this little club called juice or summet...all Wigan pier type stuff going on.
