jules_darby
Here's what I would like to see happen now. I'm in the keep Dougie camp. He gets at the very minimum 10 games into next season. This isn't some random time plucked from the air or blind faith. I want to see him when all the big earners have fucked off. There is absolutely no question they are the MAIN culprits for the situation we are in. For 3 years they have failed now and the time is up. What I'd like to see happen is Dougie seperate the camp into two groups. If anyone is going at the end of the season that's it, they are finished with bwfc. The decision is made now about new contracts and not in the summer. Those in the list that can go are told they have this window to find another club or they spend the remainder of their contract with the kids and will be completely frozen out of the picture. Anyone who's contract is up at the end of the season they sign a new deal now on terms favorable to us. They sign it now, not at the end of the season once they have been unable to find a better off. If that a contract can't be agreed then its goodbye and enjoy the next 6 months with the stiffs. The worry for me isn't that Dougie has lost the dressing room, its that his players end up feeling the same as the wankers we want rid of. Seperate them now and fuck the bad eggs off now. This season is a write off. We start planning for next season now, not in the summer. This would be my list. STAY GK - Lonegan GK - Bogdan LB - Tierney LB - RB - Baptiste RB - CB - Mills CB - CB - CB - CM - Spearing CM - Mark Davies CM - Medo CM/AM - Pratley AM - Danns AM - Chungy AM - Hall AM - Moritz AM - ST - Beckford ST - ST - ST - Fucked off list N'Gog Eagles Knight Mears Wheater Ream Craig Davies I actually like Eagles and Craig Davies but its time to go under the circumstances. For me that leaves us needing a LB, RB, 2 or 3 centre backs, maybe one more AM and a few strikers. We plan for next season now, not in the summer. McNaughton is on a free In the summer I think. As Is Feeney. I believe we're really not that far away from things turning. I think we've just hit the lowest point but the light at the end of the tunnel is just about starting to appear once the overpaid shitbags have been fucked off once and for all. That's the bit that worries me too

Garrp
£18,500 per week base Dunno about the add ons This just shows the extent of our problems. Our last choice right back who will never play for us again is on more a week than the whole defence of at least 5 teams in this division. its fucking staggering

Moderators Zico Posted January 20, 2014 Moderators Share Posted January 20, 2014 Fucked off list N'Gog Eagles Knight Mears Wheater Ream Craig Davies I'd keep Eagles miself if he's as interested as he said he was the B(E)N a few weeks back I agree more or less with the rest, though Wheater might be hard to shift as DF gave him a new contract Is Ream down because he is a high earner or because you think he's turd? He might be also tough to move on, being on 20K plus a well, and whilst he's in your keep list, Mills is a high earner too Don't forget Andrews and Sordell as well, both have a year left, Andrews might not be hard to shift if Brigton fancy him, but can't see Charlton rushing to sign Sordell, or anyone else thinking he's worth a punt - so I imagine he's another high earner who will be hard to move on Spearing and Pratley are probably a relative high earner too, it's a bit of a vague to say we need to fuck all the HEs off.. it also assumes all of DFs signings are on much less effectively, the majority of these high earners could be here another season at least, depending on what the cut off between high and modest is
Traf
on the bright side, Stuart Holden would be a world beater in League 1.
Astley White
Only one manager springs to mind who might sort things out and that's Malky Mackay. But soon as he won't want to come to us stick with Freedman for now.

All who are on the big wages as their contracts were signed in the Prem. Those on the list who are under contract were just ones I personally don't rate, or where there doesn't look to be any coming back for them (Craig Davies). Ream I don't rate, I think he gets away with an awful lot of fuck ups because he's very good on the ball. I presuming he isn't on THAT much, just from the story that he was on peanuts in America and that he nearly dropped down to League 1 with Bristol City in the last transfer window. Saying that, it really wouldn't be all that surprising if he was on shed loads. I really rate Mills and I think Dougie now does. I also think given the chance he's get rid of him in a heartbeat because he probably is one of our top earners, or certainly will be once those out of contract in the summer go. Fuck knows what we're going to do about Andrews and Sordell.
Site Supporter Cheese Posted January 20, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted January 20, 2014 That's the bit that worries me too The players probably spend more time together outside the dressing room than they do in it. Socially speaking, footballers stick with footballers. Splitting the squad into "good boys and bad boys", like a group of children in a disrupted classroom, is an absolutely ridiculous notion. onlyoneawalker
Cracking take on the days events and the situation in general. I think I know Craig if it's the same one, he was the year above me at school and stood shoulder to shoulder with him on Burnden Paddock for many years - BWFC to the core. Mounts Kipper
If DF does not pull us out of this nose dive in 4-5 games I think we have to get shut although it would be interesting to see how he faired when the high earners are ditched but I dont think we can risk another relegation just to see how this might pan out. I think we've just hit the lowest point but the light at the end of the tunnel is just about starting to appear once the overpaid shitbags have been fucked off once and for all. Reading between the lines and seeing the results as they are I would say that, internally, Dougie has told the players that he doesn't want to work with them a long time ago and that they've been playing to get a move in January. I have a feeling he's brought this public to make sure the players know that he wasn't just talking bollocks to them, he actually means it. Maybe going public with the lack of interest in them has caused them to totally stop trying? I think we'll start to see these players drop out of the frame now and get frozen out. However, we don't really know which these players are. It might not be Knight, he might actually be trying as hard as he can (dread the thought). With regards to your release list, I would personally like to keep Eagles and Ream off that list, maybe Craig Davies too. Eagles aside, those players can't be on very high salaries and they can do a job when needed. Eagles is an interesting one... he says he's committed and wants to stay, but he gets left on the bench. I can only hope that's because Dougie knows he's not going to throw his toys out of the pram and could still just drop into the team when the "wanna leaves" head off?
