Youri McAnespie Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Yes, about two defeats (less) before he's a useless cunt (if he's a munich). Quote
HomerJay Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) Is it nailed on then if we had McCarthy instead, we'd be better? Shoulda, woulda, coulda. We have freedman now. Question is, does he stay? I honestly don't know what's going to happen , if anything. Edited January 19, 2014 by HomerJay Quote
jonnycooper Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Up to now I still hoped he was, now I know he's not. THIS!!!!! Quote
mannyroad58 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I've been doing my best since DF joined us to give him a chance, young manager fresh ideas and all that but so far this season he hasn't done anything that gives me any confidence that he's the right man for the job and after yesterdays embarrassment i wouldn't give a fly fuck if he left. there's a few managers available out there, Glen Hoddle, Stuart Pearce, Roberto Di matteo to name but 3 that i would love to see at our place Quote
jules_darby Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Does it really make any difference if he is or not? Well I actually am Keith Hill and I'm a city fan so you're all wrong Quote

onlyoneawalker Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 You were doing well until I read Stuart Pearce Jesus wept Had it gotten that bad? You've clearly had enough of DF Ju who'd u go for? Are u a Keith Hiller? Quote
Sweep Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 And Di Matteo and Hoddle ain't coming to Bolton in a million years. I don't think Di Matteo is going anywhere for a couple of years whilst he's still being paid God knows how much each month by Chelsea. Quote
Zico Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Is it nailed on then if we had McCarthy instead, we'd be better? No, it's speculative at best But with our worst start in 100+ years, two home wins to date and worst defeat in 30+ years, It's hard to imagine many, including coyle, who could be doing a worse job Quote
mannyroad58 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 And Di Matteo and Hoddle ain't coming to Bolton in a million years. Agree but nothing wrong with having a wish list mounts Quote
jonnycooper Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) Hoddle went to Swindon so why wouldn't he come to lickle ole Bolton? ?? Edited January 19, 2014 by jonnycooper Quote

Are u a Keith Hiller? Not sure to be honest; I don't have a firm answer Pearce was a laughing stock with the staff at City - very ITK, so definitely not him Keith Hill; doing a great job at Dale, but the Barnsley thing is worrying obviously Quote
Guest JamesBond Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Hoddle went to Swindon so why wouldn't he come to lickle ole Bolton? ?? He turned us down when he was a player, why would he join us now. Quote
Guest JamesBond Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Eaves will get binned in close season. He's league one at best. That's probably being kind too. We could be in League 1 if we're not careful Quote
Guest JamesBond Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 It's just a shame he's a red. I think he'd do a good job for us. Plus he 'discovered' Craig Dawson amongst other decent players like Le Fondre. I read somewhere that he was born in Bolton and supported the Wanderers as a kid Quote
Tombwfc Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Was McCarthy willing to manage us? How would he have done with our team, as opposed to Ipswich? Just a load of if, buts and guesswork. We were better off in every concievable way to Ipswich when he went there. We'd just come down from the Premier League, they were adrift at the foot of the league looking relegation certs. He definitely would've come. How he would've done, I have no idea. Terry Connor would've struggled to do worse than Dougie has. I still think we're a pretty attractive job, especially given how much expectations have been lowered. There are always plenty of out of work managers who could do with 500k a year. Holloway was managing in the Premier League at the start of the season and now he's at Millwall. Quote
