tobutts

even if you don't buy he'll point you to the right shoes for you

you can then get googling

i got some saucony ones off amazon for about 60 btw

failing that foot traffic opposite

gave me a first time discount and got my gait analysed..

if my knees are sore I go for a run and clears them up :)

I would avoid Foot Traffic like the plague. Tobutts is very good. There's no such thing as good and bad running shoes it's what's good for you pending on your gait etc. I know you don't want to go mad but I would consider upping your budget another £20 or so..... If you want to know anything else drop me a line pal

whats wrong with foot traffic,

had really good service there each time I've been.

Get some docs and glue settee springs on the bottom

Do it barefoot.

Apparently it's the best way to do it, and it's easier to get dogshit off your feet than out of the grooves in trainers.

Only been once and he told me I was wearing the wrong shoe, that it was doing me damage & I should wear another type, they nearly fuckin killed me. I went back in to have a chat with him about it and he started getting mouthy, there is another story regarding a girl I know but that's not for here. On the flip side he's been there years so he must be doing something right..... Not for me though

I got some adidas ones and the proper fucked me up, off to Tobutt's, even if one of them is a cunt who needs a shoeing.

I used to run in Asics or New Balance, if you don't get decent shoes you will fuck your knees and feet up

Tobutts - I've had bad experience at Foot Traffic too.

Sweatshop at David Lloyd in Chorley also does a free fair analysis

They will try & sell you trainers of course but as said above you can take the recommendations and find alternatives on google

Invested in pair of adidas Sonic Boost cost £60 in JD sale should have been £100.Highly recommended and like running on air.Running Liverpool Half Marathon in March and Bupa Great Birmingham Half Marathon in October to hopefully build up for London Marathon next year. Our lass bought us Garmin sat nav running watch for Xmas and has really helped with my training.

Decathlon are advertising a pair on a billboard near RRG on Bury Road for about £40. Failing that, run up stairs after lobbing yourself down em

I'd be lost without mine.

I can't find mine.

Decathlon do a stocked brand called Kalenji. They're about half the price of Asics etc and are very good. For £50 you'll get some very decent runners. They do free gait testing as well.

There's one in the Manchester Arndale too.

Always use Tobutts for running shoes.  Brooks Adrenaline are the ones i get for around £80, quality trainer.

Cheers for the advice. Been to torbutts and got the brooks adrenaline. Over good support as my gaits all over the place.

good customer service as well.

Hi Tec Silver Shadow

BK Knights?

How much did you pay? Brooks are a good shoe, if they are ok you now know what your "type" is. When you buy your nest pair for the half marathon you will be doing you will find some online.

I always where New Balance, I ring the warehouse in Shap and see what they have from last years line. My type is 860s(which replaced the 760s) and Ive just got two pairs for £95 inc postage.....
