There seems to be good interest in a coach for this game as trains are not for going cheap,are there any of you wandererswayers who would be interested?,I know some lads are holding out for the cheap train tickets but I believe that's a no go.

Just googled London Underground Engineering Works, looks a reasonable service. 7 mins from Euston to Charing Cross on Northern Line. Didn't do the onward journey to Charlton. Sorry, half a tale

You could go to Tower Gateway station (near Tower Hill station ) & get the DLR  to Greenwich & change there to the train to Charlton,

or. the more scenic....Tower Gateway, DLR, to Island Gardens, walk under the foot tunnel & have a look at the Cutty Sark & Greenwich & then get the train to Charlton,

or the more varied.....Tower Gateway, DLR, to King George V, & cross the Thames on the free ferry to Woolwich, & then get the train back from Woolwich to Charlton,

 

or you could just get the train from London Bridge to Charlton .
