  • Hes played the same tactics today that have got us nowhere all season. Its cowardly football. Whats he scared of? He finally changes his ideology gets everyone back on side and reverts to type. Hes

When Mason first came, popular opinion was he was wank. Second come proved us wrong.

Trotter getting the same sort of press ATM, lets hope next season he can do a mason (though I can't see him getting a start with current midfield four still being there)

Not been. Not listened. Point away from home to 3rd in table with illness robbing us of our first choice team. Happy.

You wouldn't be happy if you'd paid £22 to watch that shite though

Oh yeah, knight shooting from the edge of his own box pmsl

@MarcIles: Illness stopped Joe Mason starting today. Other absentees Eagles (eye infection) and Lonergan (ear infection) #bwfc

Christ we're riddled.....

Boooooooooooooooooooooo

I reckon its lies

it's Illes

Anewman yep.

Ended up staying in Harvester until last orders, just got home. Trotter was bobbins, and bringing on Wheater was the ultimate "shut up shop" substitution. Don't think Spearing and Medo played their roles right tonight, offered little protection to the back four and weren't looking to take the ball off them like in recent weeks. Danns and Davies were pretty anonymous though which didn't help. Hutton, Knight and Ream all did well though.

Fuck me, we've done well to keep a clean sheet with two midfielders doing nowt, two doing it wrong and one just being plain shit.

Good job Mills was out.

Bogdan was time wasting on orders in the first 5 mins. I'm sorry but that was an awful way to setup. We defended well and bogdan was excellent but Derby were woeful going forward. No ambition to try and win that last night. Kicking the ball back to Derby to come at you again was a odd tactic.

I didn't go so i saved myself £22 but no matter how we played we got a point where as a month or so ago we would've got dicked, it's up to the home side to try and break us down and go out and win the game. I would've taken a point before the kick off so to me we did exactly what most people would've wanted.........not to get beat

Didn't Danns have a number of chances? I don't understand why some folk are complaining about bringing Wheater on with 2 minutes to go neither, it was the right decision. Derby had 4 strikers on the pitch by then and had us on the back foot. Take the clean sheet and a point. I'm happy with that. Roll on Saturday! COYW!

Exfuckingactly

Alot that went seem to be critasing the performance. Do they need sectioning aswell? We were unambitious and negative like the majority of this season. People keep saying take the point as if we're going anywhere. Its all about the performance from now till end of season for me. Yes I appreciate we can't play like we did against Blackburn every week. But we can try! We have a defeatist attitude.

Absofuckinglutely.

We were already under constant pressure, so taking off a worn out striker & bringing Wheater on to protect our point, was the right decision.

Nice to put a face to a name, you was sat near the door when I was leaving with the gf, black coat

It's about staying in the championship 1st of all and at this moment in time we're no where near safe so sometimes it's about the result and not the performance, i wish we could combine the two everyweek but the Blackburn and Leeds performances are a bonus in a very bad season so far, if we can get anywhere near that from now until the end of the season well that will do for me

Its because we changed and went more positive we've pulled away. Why not carry on and pull away even more? Why revert back to what has put us in this position in the first place? It was working and great to watch. I am totally convinced that if we approached last nights game like the previous three we would have got a point minimum. I appreciate this seems harsh on what on the face of it is a decent point. However we are capable of better. I can take us dropping points anywhere as long as we've had a go. We've all seen recently what we are capable of if he lets them go. But I'm a lunatic what do I know?

I can handle a result and/or a performance

Job done

Here's looking to Saturday

Definition of insanity : doing the same thing over and over again. But expecting a different result.

No, but their emotions were skewed by being there and watching it.

I didn't go and didn't even listen to it on the radio, therefore my opinion that it was a good, battling defensive performance is the correct one.

Indeed. So why keep posting the same utter bollocks on here?

Decent result imo.

10 points and 11 goals in our last 4 games.

I think most of us would've accepted that before we kicked off against Watford.

Should have had a word. Think I've only met about 5 people off here in 'real life'.

Wasn't Mason feeling unwell and that's why he was on the bench? so that's why we couldn't carry on as we were. 2 up front especially at home is what we should be doing but sometimes because of illness/injuries we can't

Medo did a decent job of breaking up play, but his distribution was terrible so it sort of defeats the object. Thought Spearing was poor but maybe I'm being too harsh in comparing him to his recent high standards? We just seemed to offer them far too much time and space in midfield when realistically with a five man midfield they shouldn't have got a sniff of getting it to the front two without lumping it forward. As I said in an earlier post after the game though, we came for a point and got one, so job done in that regard.

To be fair to Leyther Matt, the stats back him up

Medo stats show he made more tackles and interceptions than anyone in the championship last night.

Passing accuracy was only 55% though, which is piss poor.

Stats also says Zat Knight was immense!
