Ratwhite Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Are loans allowed if there is an emargo? No but reach arounds are Quote
Traf Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Do they drink emabrgo in the Congo? I think you've got your wires crossed, mate. They drink embargo in Key Largo, it's Um Bongo in the Congo. Quote
superkev Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 When does the loan windows start and end? Think it starts 8th September to November sometime Quote
Casino Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 and are they emergency loans - ie just 93 days? Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 and are they emergency loans - ie just 93 days? Yeah 28 to 93 days. The league can allow over 93 days in extenuating circumstances but don't think they ever have other than for goal keepers perhaps. Fifa still need convincing that this emergency loan concept should be allowed again for Football Leagur clubs again next season Quote
Carlos Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Look at the league table, it's a fucking crisis here never mind emergency! Quote
Traf Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 The "emergency" loan situation isn't just for Football League team's benefits, though is it? Won't PL players not making their club's 25, be needing game time? Quote
Casino Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Yeah 28 to 93 days. The league can allow over 93 days in extenuating circumstances but don't think they ever have other than for goal keepers perhaps. Fifa still need convincing that this emergency loan concept should be allowed again for Football Leagur clubs again next season so can we have an up to 93 dayer to take us to the winter window and then one to the end of the season? Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 so can we have an up to 93 dayer to take us to the winter window and then one to the end of the season? Yeah. As many as you want I think but Max 5 in match day squad. Pretty sure can't get the same player for 93 now and then 93 in February though Quote
Traf Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 The 93 days leave you a month short at the end of each loan period, I think. Isn't that why Dawson missed out? Quote
Casino Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 sorry, meant the same player could we sign somebody on loan through to end of the season emergency now standard loan in january Quote
Traf Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 sorry, meant the same player could we sign somebody on loan through to end of the season emergency now standard loan in january Yes, but if we signed him now, he'd have to go back on December 5th. Quote

Isn't that why Dawson missed out? emergency loans are definitely limited to 93 days in any season its why mason could only come for 57 (?) days in last years second spell but, as i assume you can emergency loan til january then make it permanent, i dunno if you can have two loan deals itd be a bummer to get somebody in and flying then them leave in january Quote
Casino Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Yes, but if we signed him now, he'd have to go back on December 5th. ahh. so any deal is likely to be delayed til back end of next week Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 The 93 days leave you a month short at the end of each loan period, I think. Isn't that why Dawson missed out? I don't fully understand the Dawson one as he signed in the transfer window proper originally. So the rules are different. Wonder if it was originally a one month loan and then was a 93 day in emergency loan window Quote
Garrp Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 sorry, meant the same player could we sign somebody on loan through to end of the season emergency now standard loan in january Yes We did it with Danns last season. Quote

Wonder if it was originally a one month loan and then was a 93 day in emergency loan window I think the Dawson one was done that way to suit West Brom. They wanted him back towards the end of the season to play in the first team once they had nothing to play for. At the time it suited us as we were never making the play offs anyway. It was only after we went on that ridiculous run and we had a chance that there was talk of extending. That was when Dougie said he and Clarke had agreed on a deal for him to go back and play for West Brom. Quote
Traf Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 ahh. so any deal is likely to be delayed til back end of the month Quote

Wonder if it was originally a one month loan and then was a 93 day in emergency loan window hmmm, plot thickens a Standard Loan must be the time between two Transfer Windows, Standard Loans can be for half a Season or a full Season. so, dawsons was an emergency loan, but signed within a transfer window? waffer cup 07 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Going off at a topic slightly, Premiership loaning to other Premiership clubs is bollocks it also deprives lower clubs of being able to compete on loaning those players. Quote
tylswhite Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Going off at a topic slightly, Premiership loaning to other Premiership clubs is bollocks it also deprives lower clubs of being able to compete on loaning those players. Lower clubs are getting royally screwed with all these rules. Can only spend so much which is stupidly less down here and loan restrictions etc. Its utter fucking bollocks. The rich get richer and all that shit. Quote

DazBob Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Yes, but if we signed him now, he'd have to go back on December 5th. Not if we made him stay. Quote
