You then pointed out that he spent some last summer. I didn't disagree, I've just pointed out that last years spend is irrelevant on what we can spend this year because we've now got to adhere to FFP. You can't seem to grasp this and keep pointing out he spent money last summer. For the last time, I don't give a fuck about what money was spent last summer, it makes no difference to the fact that we have fuck all this summer, FFP has seen to that. Whether we should be in the prem is a different argument. In conclusion, there is no way we are paying Mcnaughton more than Baptiste as we currently, at this moment in time, in this transfer window, due to less parachute payments and FFP, are skint and therefore swapping right backs for a dearer version would make no sense at all.
