Take it that was the young lad who played in the academy team on Saturday looked ok also a talker which I like I wouldn't say he's ready for first team yet, but looks a good athlete with good size and ok on the ball.

Well, we certainly won't "get anything near his value" in a year's time.

 

He ended the season well, but is he 26 already ?  If so, it's taken him a long time to mature.

I'd rather keep him than flog him for next to nothing. I suppose it depends how much somebody is willing to offer, if an offer for £1M came in, it might be too much for us to turn down

About the right age for a keeper though? We won't get a decent fee so I'd rather keep him as he is better than Lonergan.

As regards the strikers Nixon reckons we're after. Surely one of them has to be Glenn Murray from Palace! Freedman signed him for Palace and he hails from the North West. Would be a surprise if this guy wasn't on the list.

 

Only worries would be he only has one season of success at our level - albeit that was quite some season! He's also 31 in September.
