birch-chorley Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Why are we not raiding for the young talent from Barcelona & Real Madrid? It's a no brainer for fucks sake :-) Quote

Rembrandt Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 You mean Rodney Trotter or the U18 Damian Trotter. Both based in London and May be reluctant to move North. Rodney, obviously. '3 wheels on my waggon' & all that. At least he's tall - put him up front. Quote

Rembrandt Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 (edited) Fat Frank's off to New York ? Why didn't we get him here ? We need another statuesque static whatever midfielder - can never have enough. Boooo ......... Edited July 19, 2014 by Rembrandt Quote
white noise Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Nixon was tweeting that we were reeling from missing out on Juke. Now tweeting that we are lining up 2-3 attackers and could get 2 or 3 and that there are 'no duds' amongst them! Sounds promising , guess we'll see soon. Quote
paulhanley Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Sunday People reports us to be looking at Adam Hammill, a winger who plays for Huddersfield. However, Alan Nixon, the author of the piece, has said on his Twitter feed that he is well down on the list of 5 or 6 we are looking at since missing out on Juke. Meanwhile, Sunday People also reports Barnsley to be trying to sign Zat Knight! Quote

jules_darby Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 In Nixon we trust? As I said on another thread, I don't get him going out on loan to be in our interests as much as selling him or playing him...therefore I'm with Nixon Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 It's a worry if that's the case that the agent trying to engineer a move. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Hamill was Liverpool player I seem to remember, seems we're trying to sign players from clubs that pay low wages, Millwall, Charlton, Barnsley etc. Quote

Hope Davies' manages more than a quarter of he season this time round (in a white shirt), (and with a decent forward in friont of him) Quote

Hope Davies' manages more than a quarter of he season this time round (in a white shirt), (and with a decent forward in friont of him) That's pretty much why I can't see him moving - he's not got a full season in him. Especially in the Prem and at QPR, whose treatment room seems even worse than ours. Quote
Casino Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Hamill was Liverpool player I seem to remember, seems we're trying to sign players from clubs that pay low wages, Millwall, Charlton, Barnsley etc. theres at least one very good reason for that Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 One things for sure were on a new adventure where it's going to lead to watching the whites in the next 10-20 years I don't know but it's usually a good time overall let the party begin. Quote
tomski Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Hamill would be a very good signing. Was excellent in the championship with Barnsley wasn't he? Quote
Garrp Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Was excellent in the championship with Barnsley wasn't he? Aye Failed at Wolves but was back to his best at Huddersfield last season playing wingback but he's definitely better as an out and out winger. I don't think they would let him go (especially with clayton looling like he's off to boro) but maybe him playing wingback there has something to do with it. Quote

ex_midlandwhite Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Was looking at the transfers in the championship the other day. Derby seem to have been busy bringing in Spanish players and that George Thorns from WBA. Forest and Leeds a few too. I didn't realise until know that Talk Ben Haim has joined Charlton Quote
