A target man and someone who can retain possession isn't always the same thing, but I know what you mean

 

With Juke we seemed to retain the ball so much better and he brought others (esp Mason) into the game more

 

Beckford for example, can't play that role well

 

If we don't have someone like that, we need to change the way we play surely?!

Aye.... I'd always want a decent target man /aerial threat /whatever in the squad to give us the option of playing 2 up front or longer ball football.

 

He wouldn't have to start every game, but without the option we can become a bit predictable & lightweight.

I don't understand why people are linking us with players that will command a transfer fee. It looks to me that we won't spend a dime until more players are shipped out. I even doubt that Sordell cash will go towards transfers. I think the loan market is our best bet now.

Just been browsing the completed transfer sections ont BBC.

 

Leeds seem to be doing a Watford, signing a couple or three Italian unknowns

Forest signed a Barcelonian and Michael Mancienne

 

Rest seem to bein same boat and swapping / trading lower league types.

 

DF done well to get he squad sorted early doors. Get another striker or two and we could be in he mix. Honestly can't see a clear favorite in this league
