stevieb Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Someone told me a bloke was found on the hard shoulder between cowyed and Farnworth with serious head injuries so it was shut. Rumour has it a bloke had topped himself on the tracks somewhere between Leeds and Victoria which was causing havoc on the trains on the way home too. It's a right barrel of laughs this commuting lark! Quote
Carlos Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Some daft cunt was sat at Entwistle station last week, sat on the platform. His legs ended up in Darwen. Quote

Carlos Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 It's just one lane apparently. It shouldn't make a difference as it goes down to 2 lanes soon after anyway. Quote
SalfordOriginal Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 It's just one lane apparently. It shouldn't make a difference as it goes down to 2 lanes soon after anyway. You wouldn't have thought so but it's made a difference taking it from 3 to 2 going the opposite direction at the same point. Tends to be those drivers not willing to wait an extra few mins so leave it until they have no where else to go before trying to switch lanes thus causing the flowing lane to break Quote
Traf Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Can't believe how worked up some folk over a temporary upheaval that will make the road network far better in the long term. Quote
