What's the ultimate "I was there" match

Exeter in the League Cup on a Tuesday night?

That tournament in Korea?

Besiktas?

Plovdiv is the only game I have ever to and gone thinking if I missed it I would regret it for a long time.

This.

A few others stand out but this was the pinnacle - Trotters in Europe. Who'd a thowt!!

This.

Who remembers the one at eastville when we had not won away for years think it was a night match but not sure we celebrated the goal like we had won the world cup.

Plovdiv by a country mile for me. Theres nothing I wouldn't have done to get that. Amazing night.

The Hull Friday night game isn't far behind. Cheers Dad!

Think the lowest following I've been in is Ipswich away on a Sunday on Ferny travel. 80 max I reckon. Sure we won as well with Bergson scoring.

3 of us got booted out of a club on the Saturday night in ipswich great days????

winning away at Sheffield Utd 5-1 thousands of whites there, i was in my teens so must have been the 70's, i remember it was a scary walk back to the coach!!

All the Euros but Plovdiv, Istanbul and Belgrave stand out for obvious reasons. All the White Hot era, Hull City, the two victories at Old Trafford under Big Sam. We've had some great days.

and agree with the 2-1 away win at Hull fantastic night

That's it, thanks. Even though neither Hull club were playing. Wigan v Widnes. Perhaps some of our fans wanted to get to Wembley!!

All the european away games

FA cup away wins at Liverpool, Everton & Arsenal

OT years back when we won 2-1 when Frankie Worthy hit the winner at the scoreboard end right in front of us

OT when we won 2-1

Blackburn when we won promotion

BSA's last game at Chelsea

ricketts dinking it over the itai keeper and nodding it in??

Think so, we won 2-1. Gudni and Ricketts.

Away from Bolton games - Howard Wilkinson's only game as England manager, as dour as the man himself. Finland away, 0-0

Best I can offer is every game en route to the Carling Cup Final in 2004. Shittest of shit fans.

Winning the league/promotion at Maine Road

The entire Kippax spent the evening looking at us and growing ulcers.

We fucking OWNED the place that night.

HULL that friday night

why was it on a Friday night?

was it not easter weekend ???

was it not easter weekend ???

No, the RL thing was correct. It was 30 April, so too late to be Easter, which I think can only be 25 April at the latest.

Anyone go to one of the Anglo Italian cup games away?

Was it Ancona away that was close to the San Marino v England fixture early 90's

I didn't make any but nearly convinced my Dad we needed to go

Jan 78 if i recall correctly...we were brilliant that day & Nicholson scored a screamer. 3-2 the season before at Xmas was good too.

You do remember correctly. My first ever away game, and it was my 9th birthday, 14 Jan 78. 5 different goalsorers too.

I was there, although I can only remember the battling.

was it not easter weekend ???

We played Swansea on Good Friday that season I think when Des Little ended Andy Walkers career as we knew it.

Bradford away was the Monday if I remember correctly.

Me and my dad were on Granada goals in the seats when McGinaly rebounded one in.

I thought Swansea match was Easter Monday after beating Wigan at Springfield on the Saturday? The day of zico's 180 yard dribble. I think Bradford away was a couple of weeks later
