August 10, 201412 yr First bit of good news for some time. Lets hope he plays him with another striker; I would try the young lad who bagged a couple in pre-season - Beckford and Craig Davies need shipping out
August 10, 201412 yr Good news if he plays him, week in week out. Give him a proper chance, not warming the bench one week, in the next. Edited August 10, 201412 yr by Juan.Kerr
August 10, 201412 yr Author Agreed - give Conor Wilkinson a chance. Can't possibly be as bad as Beckford screw-foot.
August 10, 201412 yr Just need Juke to play him off Let it go. He's not coming back. Neither is Frank Worthington. Or Andy Walker.

August 10, 201412 yr Mason of August - December 2013 = no thanks Mason of January - April 2014 = yes please Trouble is he's too weak to play as a lone striker, and Craig Davies is too shit to be his wingman. Bastards.
August 11, 201412 yr This Mason? Is he all that? i think he's decent. better than anything else we have anyway
August 11, 201412 yr This Mason? Is he all that? He is faster than any other strikers we have and also a better finisher. If we can actually get the ball to him he will score his fair share imo.
August 11, 201412 yr We had all this discussion about Mason when we re-signed him last February. He proved he is more than good enough with the right strike partner and service.

August 11, 201412 yr We shouldn't be pinning all our hopes on just 1 lad, it's the other 10 that need a fucking good kick in the bollocks

Saturday was lost mainly through individual errors and the cunts that dropped the bollocks need a kick in the bollocks. Bit surprised with Dougie saying we need to keep calm and its uncharacteristic all that horsehit. I hope that's just a front and he is actually fuming and game them some real shit for Saturday. If that didn't really piss him off then he isn't tuned in to the real world. I think Mason will help provide more of an option for midfield to pass to though if he plays. He has decent movement and probably our biggest problem at the weekend was the speed at which the ball kept coming back towards our area. We couldn't hold on to it for longer than a 2 passes. August 11, 201412 yr I see a couple of projected flaws here. Indeed. But I would hope DF will address these issues. Would still rather have mason than not
August 11, 201412 yr Least it's a full season, The 23-year-old joins Bolton Wanderers on a temporary basis for the third time, following two separate loan stints at BL6 Loan stints at BL6? Did we not have a stadium name before Macron ? Edited August 11, 201412 yr by superjohnmcginlay
August 11, 201412 yr what is that all about? Striker returns for season-long loan spell with the Whites Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Cardiff City striker Joe Mason on a season-long loan deal. The 23-year-old joins Bolton Wanderers on a temporary basis for the third time, following two separate loan stints at BL6 during the course of the 2013/14 campaign. Mason made a total of 16 appearance for Wanderers throughout the course of last season, netting six goals. As part of the loan agreement between the two sides, Mason will be ineligible to play against parent club Cardiff City during his time at Bolton.
