Im starting to think that Dougie might be right only playing one up as our midfield is like a fucking vacuum. Both Watford and Bury skipped straight through the middle. Hard to know what to do when we look so shit in midfield and up front.

Some of our best stuff last season was when we played 2 up with 4 in midfield. Leeds away Blackburn at home two stand out performances.

 

We've never looked good with 1 up top. We can't defend and we just invite the opposition to attack us. We don't counter attack well either.

 

It's easy to look at the bury game and say put an extra man in midfield, but equally you can look at the horrendous Watford performance and how that panned out.
