i used to go there back in the late fifties and sixties...saw jimmy greaves head a corner from point blank range at goal..turned to celebrate only for hoppy to tip it over the bar..greatest save i've ever seen..few mins later he was chasing the ref all the way back to the centre circle shouting at him  cos he had pissed him off..probably been sent off nowadays...they were fun to watch then..lots of charactors...today it's just 11 guys running on the pitch wearing a bolton shirt..perhaps the fun will return one day.

Great post love the older memories prior to my supporting days. Keep them coming.

I'm on nights so can't go. Due to this I honestly think that despite how terrible we are we'll win. I realise I need to up my medication coming out with statements like this.
