This. Gartside has been subjected to a lot of unfair abuse - painted out to be some sort of pantomime villain trying to destroy BWFC from the inside. I hope he gets a bit of slack after this appointment, because I genuinely believe he's the best man to be Chairman of Bolton Wanderers. Just have to remember him speaking at Nat's funeral to know his heart is in the club.

I feel he had more pressure to make sure we signed up Coyle at the time. If anything, I think there's probably less pressure on him now, which allowed him to look objectively at the situation.
