October 14, 201411 yr Spot on, I'm giddy as fuck! Can't make it to Birmingham, but I get the feeling the Macron will feel like a different place a week on Saturday. Unless we lose on Saturday at Birmingham, in which case all the "I told you so" crowd will be back with a vengeance. Let's give him at least a few games to change the players' mentalities.
October 14, 201411 yr We're bottom of the league you bellends what positivity do you get out of that FFS It cant get any worse can it! Can it? You need some ginger in your life I think.

October 14, 201411 yr Spoke more on the phone these last few days than I ever have in my life. I am a reet giddy kipper.

Whatever the result at Birmingham, only an extremely thick cunt would use it to judge Lennon. I know we've got our fair share of thick cunts, but I doubt they'd get heard during Lennon's first home game. Edited October 14, 201411 yr by Cheese

We've got DF out of the club, but might take a while to get him out of the players/team. Slow & steady improvement will do me, and a mid-table finish come May. Could be any result at Brum. No matter - we're getting ready for lift-off.
October 14, 201411 yr I can only be positive , if we could get Holden back and his attitude then the possibilities oh hold on I haven't got my bet on yet , bastard not off till Friday errrm do you think I could get 5-1 by then?

I think the players already know the party is over. I noticed on one of the clips Spearing tieing his boots on the training ground while Lennon was talking in the background to Dervite Spearing was taking a sneaky long look weighing Lennon up I think he will know that nothing is going to get past Lennon I think Lennons on the case weighing up what's gone on with this group of players and he will get to the bottom of it. October 14, 201411 yr Hopefully he will sell spearing to If anyone knows a decent midfielder it's lennon time will tell.
October 14, 201411 yr Hopefully he will sell spearing to I'm very very hopeful that Lennon can get Spearing back to the player we had for the initial 6 month loan. He was a class act and can be again IMO, he's one of the players that I think had reached 0 confidence under DF.

I'm already seeing Spearing being Player of the Year at the end of the season.
October 14, 201411 yr Or get the best out of himEvery time I've seen him this season he's been very shit Aye, I'd love our Lenny to get him playing like Edited October 14, 201411 yr by Ryan

I think it will be like a new Spearing, maybe not as early as Birmingham but certainly a noticeable improvement by next home match.I'm sure Spearing will want this too.
October 14, 201411 yr Everyone should view it the same as Lennon - a clean slate. Stop all the criticism of individual players, stop booing every single mistake, stop all the "Gartside out" shit etc. We're all different, but we all have one thing in common - we love Bolton Wanderers. Fuck what's gone on over the last few years. This should be a fresh start. Edited October 14, 201411 yr by Cheese

Hope so. The sooner the better, but best not to expect overnight success. That would be a real bonus.

October 15, 201411 yr I would imagine that with him cancelling some outgoing loans that come January, he will have accessed players and there may be a few sold on (if anyone is buying) Freedman's just filled the squad with cheap players
October 15, 201411 yr I can't remember such an overwhelming wave of positivity amongst the BWFc population for a long, long time Feels great doesn't it?! This could galvanise the players, the support, everyone I'm very excited! Feelin it. Long may it continue too.

Agree 100% everybody pulling in the same direction was our strength from Rioch on and the success we had this played a massive part. From Megson on except for short period under Coyle we've teared each other apart and its partly the reason where we are today and I'm not blaming fans, but clean slate amnesty for every one for the greater good of the club. COYWM.
