I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

One game I'll be keeping an eye on today, for purely parochial reasons, is the pie-eating cunts against Huddersfield.

They've got 21 points off 26 games. You can say they're going to have to win eight or nine games out of their last 20 to keep them up, which is a pretty tall order for a team who have won only four of their first 26 and are haemorrhaging their best players.

Huddersfield at home is a pretty good acid test as to whether they have it in them to fight back. A draw will be no good. Come on Huddersfield, make your contribution to flushing the turd that won't flush.

As far as decent local aways go...they are going to be pretty sparse of both Wigan and Blackpool go down.

Just hope Preston and fleetwood can replace them...

Less of the negative thinking Gonzo...at least 4 local always next season - 2 in Manchester and 2 in Liverpool...

Gonzo - there's still a fair chance Burnley will be back on our fixture list next season too.

Anyway, fuck Blackpool and Wigan, I hope they both go back to where they belong.

Goonzo has a point, be careful of what you wish for and all that.

good crowd at blackburn

Just seen that on twitter. 5928 and 500 from Swansea!

Looks less than 5000 unless the main stand has more than the other three.

Bloody hell Blackpool 2 up at Watford

Watford need a holding midfielder

If Watford lose and if we win at Rotherham, the gap to 6th will be 8 points.

C'mon donkey lashers
