I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Sadly it looks like HSV are going to be relegated to the Bundesliga 2. Shame really but bad management has brought this.

Roll on St Pauli next season in the Hamburg derby

Very sad. Soft spot for HSV. Those freaks at St.Pauli should be outlawed. No fucking wonder they play in brown - very appropriate.

Alnwicks brother in net for rangers today

can't see there being much of an atmosphere at Swansea V Stoke today

that said, Swansea may as well go for it, if you need a 10 goal swing, Southampton are at least playing the team most likely to batter them by 4 or 5

almost worth a couple of quid 150/1

Fair play to the massives.  And folk said Pep was shite . . .

Still, if he doesn't win the Champs league in the next year or two . . .

interesting (to me) that our points tally in 2012 would've kept us up 4 seasons out the last 6

Charlton losing to Shrewsbury, guess Amos is coming back then

Great save by Amos. To little to late

Think I’d have Shrewsbury up out of these four. Charlton’s an excuse to go London but it’s a trek, Scunthorpe’s a total shit tip and I’m sick of getting pumped at Rotherham.

Shrewsbury was an ace town last time. Made the best of a bad job in Scunthorpe and had a good day in the end. Rotherham is just plain dreadful. Rotherham it is then.

Shropshire is a fine place generally. Great for a break away whilst taking in a game.

Not soon sure about South Yorks.

Happened to put Levante v Barcelona on as telly is wank tonight. It was 5-1 Levante it’s now 5-4. Absolutely obvious it’s finishing 5-6 this.

I hope Shrewsbury come up for a number of reasons. Cracking day out, good mate of mine is a big fan so it will be good for the banter with him and L/H White has them in a 400/1 acca.

Shrewsbury’s a great away day but I’d be also happy with Scunny or Rotherham, glad Charlton are out it’s a ball ache to get too.

Aside from a nice church, Rotherham and Scunthorpe are bereft of redeeming features. They can fuck off.

need derby to keep the momentum going this evening

notts county was robbed of a win in their 1st leg, did you see the penalty decision?

Plenty of places to stop off on the way and both only about 1-11/2 hours away so works for me.

McFarland might run him close

McFarland might run him close

Thankfully he didn’t have enough time to leave behind such a destructive legacy.

McFarland might run him close

Nah. He didn't get the money to waste!

Coyle will emerge somewhere else. I’m hoping Bury.

Cake and Irn Bru for the best trainers, it's like the developments in football in the past 25 years have passed him by. If not it's just lazy.

Maybe worryingly I think Tony Kelly is of the same ilk with our youth squads but I hope David Lee is driving that particular bus.
