I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

The name escapes me, but a Bolton lad who was a keen L/Pool and Gers fan who moved to Belfast ?

Quinny.  Another good lad, and though he was mostly pro/Liverpool  he appeared at a few Bolton games.

Spurs on top, but Ajax cleaning up

That's him, I remember him sporting an all white suit and a red tie at a Wanderers game on St Georges Day, had some laughs with those lot over the years.

Sounds intense this one, would definitely have taken Amsterdam over somewhere like Rome though, horrible lot.

one or two nights in Amesterdam watching Bolton in a competitive match would've been the pinnacle for me, never to be beaten

I think the lot we got handed panned out pretty well for great memories.

I've heard Feyenoord are some of worst, for such a small country they have all sorts of bother I think every game's a bubble game now for lots of teams...

Still take that over an arse slashing from a moped gang

Pre season friendly for them at hull was postponed as they were bringing loads over on the ferry a few years back

Ajax v feyenoord matches are supposed to be a bit lively

Closest you’d have got was watching Micheal Ricketts trap the ball 30 yards for 45 mins.

Don’t think I ever want to go back to Amsterdam again by the way.

Very good. Maybe a stubborn stain left though.

If that fixture ever came in I'm pretty sure I'd have no memory whatsoever
