I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

You know when you look a footballer and think he'll be a complete cunt of a person

That Norwood for Tranmere

Ashley Barnes for Burnley is another

For some reason i always think that about Josh Magennis.

But i admit i could be totally wide of the mark.

Just watched the "highlights" of the play-off final. Thought Newport were robbed. Only consolation was that I didn't have to sit through the whole 120 minutes.

Quoted as owing a lot to Owen Coyle...

His debut was Coyle's return to Burnley - not a quiet match.

actually, that last one looks like the first one, but not taking a shit

Fans maybe a little tapped

but to take 38k & 36k twice in one season to Wembley is superb

I know someone is going to be too happy about, he left with a cool 20 dabs proffit the last time we played there 😀

Coventry itself was a shithole

but that casino was a good lads retreat, payed for the day in that gaff

Not missing anything

better than boro but not a patch on Newcastle imo

trains haven’t been cheap on our last few trips up there either

I went up on the supporters bus for the midweek fixture in 2001/02. Got beat 1-0 might have been Mcateer that scored for them.Despite being "out of town" it seemed to have a proper football ground feel to it with hot dog stalls and memorabilia sellers

Sunderland = good example of why having great support doesn't necessarily make you a big club. Chelsea definitely a big club but i don't think they have Sunderland's support

Good numbers but if they average 30k at home in a bad season that's double what we'd  get in a half decent championship season. So it's like us taking 18k for a play off final, we'd get laughed at.

Can only sell what they’re given

top numbers twice in a season

There is that, but he's got points in the bag from the 80's

Void

might go 100% next season

Always enjoyed Sunderland away. A couple of our mates now live up that way and Newcastle. Always a good do
