I love Browny's enthusiasm for the game, which still comes across when he co-commentates on our games occasionally, but God he talks in riddles.  If I was trying to understand his tactics I wouldn't know whether I was coming or going.

I think it's meant to be but covid and all that. Quite like this mini tournament they have to round it all off, the one England were involved with in Portugal was good too.

The league bit passed me by too all the behind closed doors international games just didn't really interest me so they could have been qualifiers, friendlies or NL games who knows! 

The semi finals midweek were great.

Gavi is playing for Spain again tonight. It's just his tenth senior appearance. He only made his debut for Barcelona B this year.

This game was like watching Bolton on Saturday until about 5 mins ago. 

Spain have been a pleasure to watch pace of the game is ridiculous.

One was my 92 year old Dad with dementia. I put it on for him for something to watch when I called round to put his washing away, as he was sitting in silence. After about 10 minutes he said, these footballers want to get their hair cut, they all look like women 😀

Quite a tough watch this Paul Merson gambling documentary, I expected there to be some shocking stories about losses and tactics betting companies use, but it feels more like a cry for help he's clearly still knee deep in trouble with this.

I did yeah, that was the most genuine and sincere thing on the whole show.

Merson saying he doesn't think he's got another recovery in him, then meeting families of people who had lost loved ones because they couldn't recover either was very close to the bone. I had no idea he'd lost a deposit for a house to gambling as recently as during lockdown.

Merse has lost approx £7m gambling.

To put that into perspective the current UK average salary is just over £30k per year.

Merse has lost the equivalent of 230 years average salary or 5 men's whole career earnings.
