I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

They’ll get battered twice in the upcoming week

Word around the playground is Nuno is for the chop. And I don’t mean his foreskin

1/10 on Paddy

I’ve watched more premier league football this weekend than the rest of the season put together. Quietly impressed with Arsenal and West Ham seem to have lost their weak underbelly on the road

All about money & high expectations

couple years ago looked liked they could kick on and get closer to Liverpool & city now there is 6/7 better teams

It is.

Supposedly money available for Conte. Should have provided some to Poch in the first place.

Other guy should’ve got red he went in with his arm

Nice forearm smash that

Sending off just looked like a tangle of legs at first look

Good side these lot now. Decent mix of everything

Not bad for a supposedly poor manager

Empty seats m’lord

Well, Spurs have sacked Nuno S after 10 matches. 10 matches is ridiculous. Almost Nevillesque.

Apparently "Daniel Levy was reluctant to make a knee-jerk decision but has pulled the trigger" 🥴

Poor mans Chelsea.

Rudys beaten me to it but this would be unbelievable for Spurs. Top manager.

"... in London 'with his camp' ". Always chills me remarks like that. No different with any other manager I know, but the entourage is a frightful thing.

... & bloody expensive at this level.

He'll be gone in around 3 seasons.

That’s good for a manager in the prem

Maybe.

But the more successful ones tend to keep their's longer. Even Chelsea have been less successful when chopping and changing, albeit that none stay for too long even when doing fairly well.

Sometimes, success takes a while, especially if it's to be sustainable.

I'd be amazed if he's there that long.

Agreed long term projects are favourable but looking at Conte’s CV, especially the last 2 jobs, he’s come in, done a cracking job for 2 years and then left.

Spurs will want a top 4 finish and a trophy from him. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him deliver one or both and then leave.
