They finished  7 points higher  in the league than Chelsea last season despite Chelsea spending 220 million Euros in the summer of 2020.

They won the Champions league, they are champions of Europe.

Picking the 1 summer spending is great spin.so lets to a real comparison over the last 3 season.

They have spent less than Leeds....at around £70 million net spend.

21/22: -£1 million

20/21: £170 Million

19/20 : -£100 million

Over the same period of time, Man United have spent £290 Million net.

Chelsea £70 million net spend, European champions and top of the prem.

United £290 million net spend, mid-table and have no manager.

Also, City sell players to pay for Jack Grealish, they sit at around £80 million net spend a season....still less than United....while picking up league titles and plenty of cups.....

The biggest fee Leeds have ever paid is £27 million -  Chelsea will have 10 -15 players in their current squad who cost more money  than that.

Chelsea have accumulated such an expensive squad not thanks to exceptional management (they had the laughable Frank Lampard at the helm last season) or being far better supported than Leeds but due to being bankrolled by an oil baron

You said spending, and in the 1.5 season Leeds have been in the prem, have spent £150 million, and not bringinig any from outgoings.

£150 million spent, £100 mill in the first season.

Thats not my opnion, that is fact.

 

They are run well, they got £40 million for an academy player. They invest in your players, improve them, and sell on to fund winning stuff. Thats being run very well.
