I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

It doesn't matter a great deal who the manager is.Proven Champions League winners Van Gaal and Mourinho were unable to compete with the oil clubs on their smaller budget at Old Trafford.Jose won the league at Chelsea when he had the largest budget in the league

It matters a bit who the manager is.If they were  able to appoint the best manager in the world as Liverpool did to win their only league title in 30 years things would improve at Old Trafford. But even so Liverpool still win less trophies than the oil  clubs City and Chelsea. The best manager in the world is less important to a club's success than the oil money which is a good thing if you hate Liverpool

What on earth are you waffling on about 🤣

While I'm still trying to fathom whether it matters who the manager is going off this drivel above, are you suggesting Solskjaer has had to work with a pittance of a budget here?

That is just hideous. How much is Ronaldo costing and they have spent as much on transfers then anyone. They have bought crap and long may it continue

They are the biggest club in the world and have an unlimited budget ffs 🤣🤣

Didn't hear Ranieri bemoaning his budget when Leicester won the league.

Some spoiled brats + Owen Coyle II = shit performances.

Say what you want about Chelsea’s and City’s spending at least they big quality. Who have they bought since Ferguson left who has improved them? Fernandes maybe?

David Gill was just as important.

Hope they plummet

Signed for a £12 million fee. Chelsea paid £97 million for Lukaku in the same window. And Chelsea spent a lot more money than that the previous summer

I'm guessing a lot more Ronaldo replica shirts have been sold than Lukaku ones, that information won't be available anywhere

Van Gaal stated he was at the "highest chair" in England but they weren't in the market for the very best players

Is this the Chelsea who are top of the league?

All boils down to recruitment like you say, irrespective of budgets.

City sign players they need for specific roles and systems.

United have just lobbed millions at players who people on twitter say are ace.

They didnt need Ronaldo and they didn't need Sancho. Both were signed to shut the Norwich fans up.

Ronaldo shouldve gone city.

Prime example is Alexis Sanchez, nailed on to go City, then they pulled the plug and he went to United, all the United fans were lapping it up but City won’t pay stupid money on a gamble

United have the largest wage bill in teh league.

They have the highest net spend over the last 5 years.

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses.

No matter who is right in this debate may I just say........ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

All the city fans missed it as they were berating Sterling’s shit control from the previous ball.
