I'm probably going to get stick for this but as far as news goes I mainly watch the ABC and although they do mention Ange more than other Premier League managers they don't indulge in that degree of hyperbole.

As I type, the missus is gabbering to la famiglia via WhatsApp call. They are a nervous fucking wreck. A busload heading up the road from Salerno to Napoli ready to party but shitting themselves.

To compound matters, Salernitana are in a perilous position facing a Serie B relegation playoff two legger against Frosinone which was sensationally postponed as it may not need to be played due to Brescia (who ended up 15th) being investigated for staff and player payment irregularities. They are owned by Massimo Cellino - former owner of Leeds United. Would be a miraculous escape if Brescia were deducted points and relegated instead. No doubt the mad buggers would be putting it down to divine intervention and throwing extra euros in next Sundays collection tray.

Still digesting the fact that Sampdoria of Mancini, Lombardo etc. fame relegated to the third tier. Genoa fans still celebrating this! My Genoa fanatic mate Renzo calls them 'la fottuta Doria'. Truly despises them.
