I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

They've lost 39 of 74 league games between them, so with Carabao / FA cup defeats each, that's at least 43 and then I think Spurs lost a couple in Europe too, did United?

Are you surprised? 2 relegation fodder teams battling out to play in the CL.

The real European final should hopefully be a spectacle next week

Hope Chelsea win but Betis not to be sniffed at

i wont be watching that one

United have been garbage under Amorim and I suspect  a 5 man defence will never work but it is too early to sack him. They could have replaced Ten Haag with Moyes and longballed their way to 6th but there's no long term  in that. Very pleased for Big Ange and the long suffering Tottenham support

Sure I read Utd were undefeated in Europe. Until last night obviously.

Reading that Stretford got £5m simply for getting to the final. Obscene tbh.

However, a clause in the Mason Mount contract means if he played in a European final it would cost them £3.5m.

Oh dear.

Santos been called up by Cape Verde

Another manager who puts formation obsession over results 🤣

Amorim will sink United to new depths 🙂

A down side but as you suggest a minor one, I don't see too much coverage of him but he does get more attention than most. Happy to see United lose.

On the news this evening. "Aussie super coach Ange Postecoglou has led Tottenham to European glory....."

I rest my case m'lud.

Not convinced.

If they back him and he lands Gyokeres and Trincao I am expecting that they will improve dramatically.

I sincerely hope that I am wrong and you are correct.

Bet it hurt writing that.

Utd look a bit like us imo - you could make a case for them getting rid of any of their squad.  Their trouble is average players on obscene long term contracts that no one else will take on. For every decent player they can still attract, there'll be umpteen more who will go elsewhere in search of CL footy.

It's a massive rebuilding job and I expect that they're fecked for several years yet. Enjoy it!

Are Big Sam, Jose and Dyche etc no longer out of touch dinosaurs seeing as possession based teams have apparently all been sussed now??

When England go back to not making through qualifying for finals , probably. Needs to be a balance.

With Sporting squeaking the title on the last day of the season, the Brighton reject will cost a shedload and hasn’t got the same goal scoring record in England as he has in Portugal. Not that paying over the odds has ever been an issue for manure.

Aaaww. That's nice for him ... seeing as he was unavailable, physically and mentally exhausted having pulled a sulk-muscle for the past 6 months.

I'd say I wish him well ... except I don't.

Or just European footy.

Players making Man U wait for a decision whether to join them, hoping that Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth or Palace come in for them😀

Still laughing at Casemerio running back to try stop Udogies second half run.

The best bit is to attract players who are good enough to help them catch up they will have to pay higher wages. And the last thing they need is a team who are only there for the money.
