We think we’re slow at getting the ball in but this lot were comatose even against ten men. Likewise with `Huddersfield, completely toothless and if we can’t get promoted against this lot Schumacher wants shooting because there’ll never be a better chance. But they won't get promoted, its not them we have to finish above. Cardiff will obviously go up and Lincoln are the team to overtake for 2nd. Then there's Stockport. Huddersfield were always going to have new manager bounce at home in a big local derby, it won't last. Not that there's much to beat, as we've seen today you don't have to be great to win a game in L1.

I didn’t see the challenge but given the level of grievance in the Cardiff crowd aimed at the ref, and then the booing of Stockport’s centre back for the rest of the game, I assumed he’d clattered him. No yellow card of note either - sound familiar?

No yellow card of note either - sound familiar? I think they said it was a neck brace on the radio but they might have been wrong. What was interesting was Barry-Murphy's comments afterwards, about it coming for a while because the lad's been being clogged every week and weak refs are letting teams get away with it. Easy to dismiss as him whinging but we could say the same about Sheehan, especially his treatment on Tuesday. As B-M said, the threshold is different in the lower leagues but shouldn't be, it should be consistent throughout the tiers. Refs in the EFL are letting too many sides get away with systematic clogging and pantomime level time wasting. It's making for a spectacle that's pissing fans off week after week

January 25Jan 25 As always Atmosphere is terrible at Arsenal. Sound like they're nervous wrecks unless they're 3 up Edited January 25Jan 25 by deeane Koontz
January 25Jan 25 Arsenal one up, but Utd could, maybe should be level. To make the race more interesting, and the fact that captain black is irritating, I hope they don't win the game.

Bradford were dire when we played them, but they are full of experienced pros. We should have been 2 or 3 up at half time and then they slowed everything down and looked the more likely of the teams to nick a goal. Kind of a more limited version of Derby from a couple of years ago

January 25Jan 25 I always want United to lose, but I also hate the idea of Arsenal winning the league The scoreline staying the same might be for the best
