Mounts Kipper Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Aye, sad to see what was once historically the biggest Bristol club go out of the league, i remember standing on their equivalent of our Embankment in the 70's fuck me that was one big end fnarr fnarr! Great to see Trashmire back where they belong. I've also got a soft spot from the gas, working class club and massive underdogs in Bristol were top boys in the 70s there old boys must be gutted how they've gone down the pan. Quote
tomy taylor Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 The season seems very drawn out next year http://www.thefa.com/~/media/files/pdf/fa-competitions-1415/fa-fixture-list---2014-15.ashx Quote

Seabiscuit Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Congratulations to Sunderland and Alonso for pulling off their Houdini act. The "Bolton reject" played the full 90 minutes in their wins at Man Utd and Chelsea that have kept them up. Quote

How was Alonso rejected by Bolton after we offered him a new contract but the lure of Serie A was too great? Last chance as every post is a dig at the club. Quote

I'm not sure what you're getting at, is it a thinly veiled dig? Quote
Carlos Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Commentary I heard was they needed to get Alonso off as Young(?) was going past him at will and he was offering nothing defensively. Sound familiar? Quote
jules_darby Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Commentary I heard was they needed to get Alonso off as Young(?) was going past him at will and he was offering nothing defensively. Sound familiar? How many of our full backs have DMB wingers raped over the years?! At the end of the day they won at OT and got a clean sheet This shouldn't be used to bash BWFC but neither should some commentary to bash Alonso with a result like that JEBUS, this place is getting daft Quote

When you die, they'll do a post mortem and you'll be a scientific wonder of the age. "Pathologists in Bolton, England have removed 47 metric tonnes of bitterness from a single corpse. The man, who died from a collosal heart attack following a win for BWFC, had to have his jaw prised open by attaching chains to a JCB because his teeth were clenched so hard. His funeral was attended by a single mourner from the Smithills area of the town who was heard to blame Phil Gartside for the tragedy" Edited May 4, 2014 by Spider Quote
tomski Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I think atletico are maybe one of the best teams I have ever seen. Hope they win both trophies Quote
Traf Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 I think atletico are maybe one of the best teams I have ever seen. Hope they win both trophies Which would make us the de facto La Liga winners and Champions of Europe. Well done Bolton. Quote

Carlos Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Atletico losing, final game of Barca v Atletico is a big one, could go to Real if they win their games on GD. Quote

Carlos Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 In which case Barca can win it still if they dick Atletico? Quote
