I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

No changes needed for our latest southern black lad

Chelsea's 2nd goal was just as good as our team goal v Blackpool under Coyle.

15 year old kid picked for Norway national team?

A Norwegian's comment:

"15 year old Martin Ødegaard called up for Norway's squad against the United Arab Emirates next week.

Earlier this season he became both the youngest player in the Norwegain league to play a match, to start a match, and to score a goal. He's been at training for both Bayern Munich and Manchester United this winter. And both Barcelona and Real Madrid have scouted him for several matches this season. Barcelona sent no less than three scouts to scout him for several matches in a row.

In the 14 matches he have played this season, he has scored 3 goals and made 6 assists. This weekend he made the assist on all of Strømsgodset's three goals away against Start. And earlier this summer he both scored, made one assists, was the architect behind the third goal, and created a penalty in Strømsgodset's 3-1 away win over Sandnes Ulf.

If he plays, he will become the youngest European to play a national match since Hungarian József Horváth made his debut against Bohemia (Czechoslovakia) in 1906.

You may talk trash about the level of the league. Which honestly is at a low point in modern history. But for Norway, this is an unique talent no matter what.

I only have one worry. And that is, will Ødegaard handle the hype and pressure both media and the people of Norway put on his shoulders? Norwegian media is much like the English one that way. Perhaps even worse. Very big words are being used about his talent. Making it damn hard for him to do better than expected. I also hope he stays in Norway for at least another season before moving abroad."

Martin Ødegaard, as soon as he goes to a big European club, he will be thrown in the accademy, playing meaningless games. He will go out on loan when he is 20, do nothing and drop back to Norway aged 24.

When i was reading the OP I was thinking in similar terms.

In other news, Coventry agreed a deal to return to the Ricoh.

How do you type one of the O's with a line through the middle?

ø hold the o on your iPhone

HTH

On a PC, hold down the Alt button whilst you type 0216, then release the Alt button

or do it through word

alt and some numbers

Or type OI and then pull the outside of your eyes outwards. That's what Malky McKay told me to do in a text.

The last Norwegian to play an international at 15 only won one more cap - when he was 18.
