Won't spoil my day. 1 They aren't in Europe yet! 2 If they win the final they go directly to the Europa Group Stage. 3 If they lose the final and the winners are in the Champions League they will face 2 qualifying rounds. 4 But Chelsea, in particular, could finish fifth in the league, in which case the cup runners-up would not qualify. 5 Everton may need to beat Chelsea on the final day to claim sixth place. 6 If by doing so Chelsea (having won the cup) drop from fourth to fifth on the final day Wigan will miss out.
