I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Jay Jay West Ham.

Eidur against Wimbledon was a bit special. A similar goal to Elmander's.

Mike Carter scored a wonder goal against Spurs I think, in the Embankment End, must have beat 10 men, even the ref was applauding on the way back to the centre circle, never forgot it.

A couple I enjoy watching are Sinclair's goal for QPR v Barnsley, overhead kick and Van Basten volley in 1988 European championship final

I'm with gonzo on the Owen goals. Similarly THAT Giggs goal in the FA cup semi against Arsenal

Might dislike the teams/players but it's the sheer thrill of a player running with the ball at his feet, beating a few defenders and slotting it

Gazza Vs the Jocks takes some beating.

Like Sheryl then

Was going to say John Barnes for England v Brazil

I've just googled it and it wasn't that good to be honest

I like goals that are talked about years later as "doing a..."

Any shot in off the bar is doing a Yeboah, love a goal violently in off the woodwork.

By no means a wonder goal, but always liked that Anderton one v Sweden at Elland Road that went properly in off both posts too.

The yeboah one at selhurst park was even better than the Liverpool one

Agreed, mental hit that

I saw Yeboah play, he offered very little else but could twat a ball.

Has anyone mentioned David Platt? What teckers.

Matt Le Tissier. No one else scored goals like he did.

Him and Henry were the best to watch in that respect

Then Bergkamp

All the rest were flukes or one offs

Bolton fans will be shaking in their boots at the sight of him; looks brutal :jump:

A strong fart into the wind should see him off.
