He's bogwank for england. Pep has him doing well, but I'm with cassie- will judge at higher level and I'm not sure he will cut it.

You don't get much higher level than playing for the team romping home in the premier league tbf

Not forgetting 4 goals in 5 champions league games

despite everything going on at City, still don't think Raheem Steling is that good,  but this new regime clearly works for him - some nice finishes but still seems dead clumsy and all that

be interesting to see if they can match the likes of Barcelona and PSG in the CL, if they can, they might win it, but reckon they'd have to beat one of those two

His end product has always been a bit biz, given the skill and pace he has.  Does seem to be improving though which is good for England.

They’ve bought their success and many of their fans are getting as bad as them from the other side of the City

Being surrounded by blues I understand the bitterness completely

I have to say though, I think this team is as good as the Chelsea and Utd teams that Gonch mentions. And better to watch for that matter. They’re incredible.

Blue cunts

All teams who win stuff, buy their success.....with the odd 1 off exception.

And Sterling is one of the best players in the league now.

Kinell frank. I'd fancy my chances of bagging a couple playing in that team.

There was talk earlier (before season) that he might be off to arsenal. Pep's done well him this year, and from that article it appears that he may be "getting on the end of things" more than being creative- something he doesn't (or in fairness can't) for England.

He has always been a good player. The old throw away comment about his final ball etc, well you tell me any player under the age of 23 that is perfect in every aspect ? They dont exist.

His goals/assist return has always been good, and he is still now only 23.

70 goals and 73 career assists.....in 274 games is a superb return for a young lad.

He is a good player. No doubt. But not great for me.

No one's saying he has to be perfect; but based on his england performances he's failing to live up to his potential. Not just his final ball, but often runs into defenders and loses the ball- needs to improve his decision making.

He has the pace and no doubt raw talent to scare defenders and get fans on the edge of their seats, but I want to see more for it.

Hope you're right and he develops well- some continuity in the england set up may well help- I think that's helping at city.

No such thing EVER as a great 23 year old footballer.

Everyone is pants for England, even englands best ever goal scorer.

Had a player got Sterling's record in Spain folk would be wanking themselves silly over how good he is.

not sure about that

googled La liga scorers and Simeone Zaza has a similar record at Valencia and not heard a peep about him (his record at West Ham was wank)

even Guadiola said he was surprised at how well Sterling is doing

he's not shit

but he's not that good, i.e. worth a wank

18 goals and 7 assist from a 23 year old winger in half a season.....and people want more!!

Someone called Dean scored 60 league goals in the season of his 21st birthday.

Harry Kane is pretty perfect. How old is he

Kane is 24, but he only got his chance because the £26M that Spurs blew on Soldado proved to be a waste.

Otherwise he might be at Millwall by now.

He wouldn't be at Millwall now.

He may kick on ( hopefully so for England ) or he may just be the next Shaun Wright Phillips.

Why not? His debut was against Hearts in a 2011 Europa second leg, with a 5-0 advantage. It was 0-0 and he missed a penalty.

He went on to make 6 appearances - all in the same comp and scored one - against Shamrock Rovers.

In January 2012 he went to Millwall for the second half of the season and became their Young Player of the Season.

Next season he got 4 minutes plus added time in an early league match, then went on a 'season-long' loan to Norwich. He was injured in his second match and made only 3 appearances. He was recalled to Tottenham after their failure to sign a striker in the January window (rules have changed since then) but then went to Leicester for the later stages of the season, where most of his appearances were as a late sub for Vardy.

If Soldado had been the real deal Kane could easily have been let go, with only Millwall rating him.

Think hes trying to say, someone would of bought him from Millwall when he was banging 80 goals a season in the championship
