Marc505 Posted July 22, 2015 Author Share Posted July 22, 2015 Well today the outcome of the ticket applications ballot was announced.  I'm a bit gutted, I got 1 game out of the 8 I applied for (Though maybe I'm lucky, there were 11.5 million applications). I got a final group game in Nice so even if I scale back my original plans to go for a few weeks, at least Ive got a trip there to plan for.  How did everyone else get on? birch-chorley Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 I'm on my honeymoon round Europe (Northern Italy, South France, Northern Spain) during the group stage  Applied for everything in the south of Framce within those dates and got the first group game in Nice and the last group game in Bordeaux. In Portugal a group of welsh got tickets for England's group games and they weren't arsed through them some beer money on top happy days. Most want to fleece England fans.to right think it was England first game in Lisbon, a company advertised coach from villamoura to Lisbon and match ticket £150 which was a fair price. 4am pick up on the main stretch did it turn up did it fuck!. Super Bock Posted July 23, 2015 Share Posted July 23, 2015 We managed to get 10 fixtures out of the 16 that we applied for, so pretty chuffed with that. Not sure if we were lucky or if our method paid off, probably a bit of both! Â We each went in for 3 tickets for each game, all of which were in separate categories in case one was over subscribed. We didn't end up with 9 tickets and ended up with just two sets of doubles. Â The Winners of Group A in the last 16 at Lyon is the pick of the bunch. That could be France, I have no issues fleecing French people. Â We're going to be based in Bordeaux for 5 nights and the rest in Lyon, if England come to town then great, if not oh well.
